On the edge of the Hoge Kempen National Park, just across the border near the Flemish town of Maasmechelen, lies Recreation Resort Kikmolen. At this campsite you will find beautiful touring pitches on small grassy areas scattered throughout the wooded campsite. Walk or cycle directly from the campsite into the multifaceted nature park, or take a dip with your children in the large swimming lake with its water slides.

The campsite is located about 5 minutes from the A2 highway. Take exit 33 towards Lanaken and you will soon find yourself in the wooded area of the campsite. These forests are part of the Hoge Kempen National Park, the large Flemish nature reserve on the Kempen plateau. From the campsite, you can walk or cycle straight to the Hoge Kempen National Park.
Camping on small grassy fields
Most of this large campsite consists of permanent year-round sites. Nearly 130 more touring pitches are scattered around the campsite on separate grassy fields. Nice modern sanitary buildings with rooms for disabled people, baby rooms are close to the touring pitches.
Swimming in the natural pool
The extensive swimming lake at the front of the campsite is ideal for young swimmers or kids who can't yet swim (properly). Much of the lake is quite shallow, making it safe for even the youngest to swim.
Hoge Kempen National Park
From the campsite, you can walk or cycle straight to the Hoge Kempen National Park. There are some 200 kilometres of hiking trails in this more than 5,700-hectare nature reserve.
