We zijn er een weekendje in September geweest, bij de camping is een bushalte en met een vriendelijke chauffeur rijdt je naar Gent centrum. Op de camping was een lekker restaurant maar wees snel, ze sluiten al om 21:00 en er kan geen pintje meer gedronken worden, camping binnenrijden is smal en weeral overal veel takken die krassen maken, sanitair is oud en wel goed onderhouden, geen korting ACSI leden, verplicht tot kopen van een vuilzak voor één nacht? Hoe ze aan vier sterren komen weet ik niet.

Ik heb, als alleenstaande moeder, met twee tieners op deze camping gekampeerd deze zomer. We stonden uiteindelijk op het tentenveld en dat was prima. Veel ruimte en veel te zien.
Jammer dat ik voor mijn auto, die dus niet op de camping stond maar buiten de slagboom, toch moest betalen. Verder een heel prettige, rustige camping dichtbij Gent en Brugge. Ook prima voor tieners en jongeren!

Wij hebben hier gekampeerd van 21 tot en met 25 mei 2009, gunstige ligging ten opzichte van Gent. Hier zijn we op de fiets naar toe geweest. Elk sanitairgebouw heeft 1 afwasplaats buiten. Dit vonden we wel een beetje weinig!

Het personeel bij de receptie is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Standplaats is ruim voldoende. Het sanitair zou beter onderhouden kunnen worden. Voldoende toiletgebouwen. Vlak bij de camping is de bushalte. De Camping ligt in een mooie omgeving aan de rand van de stad en dichtbij de autosnelweg. Let op met je GPS, die stuurt je door de stad Gent, volg daarom de routebeschrijving. Gent is een geweldige stad, helaas was men grondig bezig met renovatie. Diverse gebouwen in de steigers en riolerings werkzaamheden.
De camping is een aanrader. Er is een goed restaurant en friture aanwezig. De kampwinkel is goed toegerust. Volgend jaar komen we zeker weer voor een langweekend terug.

Terug naar huis en dan ook nog een onderbreking en echt 2 dagen vakantie in de prachtige stad Gent. Ruim tevoren besproken plaats, leverde op de dag zelf toch een wat onbereikbaar plaatsje op dat klein was en het inrijden met de caravan (zonder mover) problematisch maakte. Veel verspreid liggend sanitair en daardoor niet erg veel capaciteit per sanitaire unit. Met de fiets naar Gent is redelijk eenvoudig (wegwijzering kan nog net iets beter) en in Gent gekomen kan je dag net meer stuk. Erg mooi, uiterst gezellig en lekker eten in prima ambiance. Mooi slot van onze vakantie en relatief dicht bij ons thuis in Alkmaar.
