Campsite La Roquette is a camp site in Châteaurenard (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France). The camp site has pitches which are marked out, pitches with shade and pitches without shade.

It is possible to rent caravans and mobile homes. The camp site has a sports ground.

Camping heeft twee 'straatjes' met kampeerplaatsen. In de directe omgeving is niet veel te beleven. Voor tourtochten met de auto in de provence ideaal.

Sinds 1 oktober 2012 is de camping overgenomen door een zeer spontaan en sympathiek jong Frans stel. De campeerplaatsen zijn heel aardig, de heggen ertussen in zouden wat lager mogen. Geven nu een wat opgesloten gevoel. Maar wie weet, gaan deze nw eigenaren hier wat aan doen. Het sanitairgebouw midden op het terrein is modern, het gebouw bij de ingang wat ouder maar zeker goed genoeg en zeer schoon. Wij zijn ervan overtuigd dat de nw eigenaren het goed gaan aanpakken.

Deze camping wordt in het voorseizoen bewoond door veel gasten die hier langere tijd verblijven. Daardoor komen er niet veel plaatsen vrij. Er is dus veelvuldig sprake van een “camping complet”situatie. De straten rond de camping zijn druk en ook het ernaast gelegen zwembad en sportparken zorgen voor de nodige geluidsoverlast. Dan nu het positieve: aardig ingedeelde camping met mooi zwembad. Twee sanitaire units, een beetje gedateerd, maar brandschoon. Broodservice en een klein restaurantje wat door de uitbaters zelf gerunt wordt. Deze Franse eigenaren doen er alles aan om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te doen verlopen. Compact site with well demarked pitches. Facilities basic and unisex. Motorhome water and waste. Supermarket nearbye. Could walk into pleasang town of Chateaurenard and then buses into Avignon. Biggest problem we had was mosquitoes, bitten badly. Obviously a problem in the area, each toilet facility had a huge industrial size insect zapper on the roof, and it was going like crazy all day and night. We would have stayed longer had not been for this problem.....go prepared !!. Pleasant pool and basic bar facility
