Het is een zeer rustige camping. Voor kinderen zijn er praktisch geen georganiseerde activiteiten. Wel veel vooral 98% Nederlandse kinderen waarbij onze kinderen aansluiting vonden. De verbinding met Rome per bus en trein is goed. Het sanitair is prima en schoon. Het meer is héél erg mooi en schoon. Het zwembad stelt niet veel voor maar dat is dan ook niet nodig met zo'n meer. Er zijn nogal wat plaatsen op de camping waar de zon vrijwel niet doordringt. Wij waren blij niet een dergelijke plaats te hebben. Al met al zijn wij zeer positief. Wij gaan, zoals het er nu naar uit ziet volgend jaar nog een keer.

Het is een geweldige camping, op de receptie wordt goed Engels gesproken, en de plaatsen zijn voor Italiaanse begrippen groot, het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het zwembad is klein maar fijn en met de badmutsjes op zien we er allemaal niet uit, de excursies naar Rome en Pompei zijn geweldig onder leiding van een goede gidsen, al met al een mooie en goede familie camping.

Camping Roma Flash is echt een keurige camping. Bijna alle plekken hebben overvloedige schaduw, echt heel fijn. Daarnaast ligt de camping aan het geweldig schone meer van Bracciano, waar het heerlijk afkoelen is na een lange dag. De eigenaresse is streng, maar niet onredelijk. Op de regels worden echter geen uitzonderingen gemaakt, en dat wordt niet door alle klanten (80-90% Nederlanders in juli) altijd gewaardeerd, getuige dit forum. Door de strenge regels is het 's avonds echter rustig en is er in het hoogseizoen zeer beperkt autoverkeer op de camping. Betalen voor brood/bar/restaurant dient met een smartcard te gebeuren. Zeer onhandig, maar het zij zo. Er is een basic restaurant, waar eenvoudige maaltijden en pizza's worden geserveerd tegen keurige prijzen. Rome is goed bereikbaar met trein en auto. Prima geschikt voor een langer of korter verblijf met of zonder kinderen.

Mooi gelegen camping met stacaravans, klein strandje aan het meer, klein winkeltje, onhandig eigen betaalsysteem (pasje) voor winkel, resto, brood etc. Als het niet druk is, is het resto redelijk, pizza goed. Als het druk is moet je er niet zijn. Ondanks de vele regeltjes is het er goed toeven. Verbinding naar openbaar vervoer is prima. Centrum van Rome wordt bereikt in ruim 5 kwartier: shuttle, trein, metro, prima! Hebben het in de goed verzorgde stacaravan naar ons zin gehad.

Een leuke camping aan een mooi meer, echter de voorzieningen laten een beetje op zich wachten. Er is een klein kampwinkeltje maar daar moet je niet te veel van verwachten. De dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is in Bracciano ongeveer 10 km rijden. Wij gingen altijd naar Manziana iets verder maar wel een superstore die de hele dag open is. De activiteiten op de camping laten enigzins te wensen over, kan ook komen doordat wij in het voorseizoen daar waren, maar dat je als je in het meer was niet eens even een ijsje of glas drinken kon kopen was jammer. Er zijn 2 Nederlanders op de camping aanwezig die uitstapjes organiseren naar Rome en Pompeï. Let hierbij wel op, de excursies zijn best prijzig en houden eigenlijk de busreis in, entree voor de verschillende dingen moet je zelf nog betalen. Wij zijn alleen mee geweest naar Pompeï en vonden dit het geld niet waard. Op zich was er een goede ov verbinding maar de laatste bus ging al om 18.00 uur.
