Leave A14 from Rimini-Ancona at Marotta Mondolfo. At the exit turn right. Follow this route (SS424) for about 4 km. In Ponte Rio turn right towards Stacciola (SP154). The camp site is at the top of the hill. Follow Mar y Sierra signs.

Op 28/9 arriveerden wij op de mooi gelegen camping. Op 29/9 eind van de middag kregen wij te horen dat we de volgende dag moesten vertrekken in verband met het sluiten van zeer mooi gelegen camping. Diverse gidsen geven aan 15/10 als sluitingsdatum en op het bord bij de ingang staat zelf "hele jaar geopend". Onze "buren" (waren ook net gearriveerd) hebben deze informatie geheel niet ontvangen en hadden groots uitgepakt en wilden tot 15/10 blijven. Ook zij konden vertrekken. Ondanks zeer aardige beheerder en heel mooi gelegen camping toch een duidelijk mindere ervaring.

We waren hier in mei 2009 en met prachtig weer zochten we een plekje onder bomen op de terrassencamping. Steile toegang met stenige ondergrond. Ging prima. Mooie plaatsen met leuk uitzicht op de omgeving.Zeer verouderd sanitair, wel schoon. Toen het ging regenen werd het minder mooi, veel plassen op de terreinen en de toegangsweg werd wel erg glibberig. Toch zijn we zonder hulp weer weggekomen, maar het was wel ijzig. Supervriendelijke beheerders. O ja, zwembad werd gerenoveerd en dat werd direct gemeld bij aankomst. Van het restaurant hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt.
Prachtige omgeving met veel leuke plaatsjes.

Camping in een prachtige omgeving. Gezien de ligging ben je wel volledig afhankelijk van de auto. Geen winkel op de camping. Je kunt wel brood bestellen. Fietsen is alleen voor de zeer sportieven mogelijk. Vooral op de lager gelegen plaatsen mooi uitzicht. Voldoende ruimte in het laagseizoen. Bij vertrek al snel hulp van de tractor nodig. Bijzonder gastvrij en behulpzaam personeel. Prachtig zwembad dat echter half september gesloten is. Ook het resaurant was gesloten ondanks andere info in de gids. Het sanitair is niet meer van deze tijd. Slecht onderhouden, bijvoorbeeld niet sluitende deuren en kleine doucheruimtes. Wel keurig schoon. In toiletgebouw beneden geen warm water. Dus voor warm water de lange klim naar boven.

Als doortrekcamping gebruikt voor de boot naar Griekenland vanuit Ancona. Vriendelijke ontvangst en ook bij vertrek prima. Voor deze prijs als campingcardcamping dus ook een prima doortrekadres.

Naar aanleiding van de goede beoordelingen wilden wij enige dagen op deze camping doorbrengen. Helaas werd bij aankomst meteen verteld dat het restaurant én zwebad reeds gesloten waren. Het is 4 september en volgens de gids zouden deze voorzieningen geopend blijven tot 15-10. Aangezien het erg ver van het strand is, en bovenop een heuvel dus niet te fietsen voor onze gewone stadsfietsjes, zijn wij weer doorgereden.
