Le camping est idéal pour les familles et les jeunes. la proximité de la plage est très pratique et la plage elle-même est superbe (sable fin et propre, eau limpide, pas dangereuse, 2 accès réservés aux usagers du camping)! Les allées sont assez larges et le choix des emplacements très intéressant. L'aire de "sport, détente, jeux" est vaste et verdoyant, l'accès au petit parc animalier un bonheur pour les enfants. L'utilisation du barbecue est un détail non négligeable pour les vacanciers. Très pratique aussi la supérette, avec pains et viennoiseries frais tous les jours. Le site se trouve légèrement en bordure de la ville ce qui favorise sûrement le calme ambiant. Globalement le calme est respecté après minuit. Les équipements pour les services camping-car et caravanes sont accessibles et bien entretenus. Bref c'est un camping que je recommande.

Perhaps this is a slightly unfair review as we were at Playa Joyel as part of a Camping Club rally. This site is in a super location with an absolutely stunning beach a few minutes walk from your pitch. We found that our pitch was a bit small for our unit and car, several rally members, including us, were using vacant pitches to park cars as space was very limited if you wanted to use an awning or canopy. The site was never overcrowded or noisy in early June although busier at the weekend when many Spanish campers arrived. A visit to the little animal park is a must when it is open. Other must do's are the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao,use the train it is an experience! You will need to drive to a local station. Also of course the Picos de Europa, it is a long drive to Fuente De but worth it. Noja is a modern resort town and that is about it.

Grote camping, we waren er in juni. Bij de receptie was het meestal best druk. In het weekend stroomde het vol met Spanjaarden. Heel veel voorzieningen. Heerlijk dat je zo het strand op kunt lopen, mooi breed strand met wit zand in een baai, het blijft heel lang ondiep. Het zeewater was nog wel koud. Ook in het voorseizoen was het best druk in de sanitaire blokken, maar we hoefden nooit te wachten.
Goed voorzien supermarktje en ook een winkel met allerlei zaken als parasols en vliegers. Er is ook een kapper, maar de mevrouw daar wist zich geen raad met het dunne blonde haar van mijn man... Het werd dus ook niet wat.
