1. Getting started with the ACSI Campsite Europe app

To use the ACSI Campsite Europe app, you need a subscription. You can choose from the following options:

  • 1 month – €1.99 per month
  • 3 months – €4.99 every three months
  • 1 year – €9.99 per year

You can download the app for free via the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android). Have you already downloaded the ACSI Campsite Europe app to your device? Then continue to step 3.

2. Download the app

Note: There are several ACSI apps. Download the one with the ACSI logo, as shown above.

Download the app via the Google Play Store.

The app is suitable for Android 9 and above.

3. Accessing the information in the app

To access campsite and/or motorhome pitch information in the ACSI Campsite Europe app, you first need to take out a subscription. There are three ways to gain access to the information in the app:

  • By purchasing an ACSI Campsite Guide which includes access to the app’s information
  • By subscribing to the app via the ACSI webshop
  • By subscribing via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

4. Download information

Go to 'Downloads' and download the country packages you need.

Please note: you will need a good internet connection to do this.

5. Search using the map

Go to 'Search' to look for campsites on the map.

  • Search for campsites nearby: Is location services enabled on your device? Then nearby campsites will be shown automatically. Your current location is marked with a blue dot.
  • Set a location manually: Looking for campsites or motorhome pitches near your next destination? Place the flag icon on the map and press the check mark. Campsites near that location will appear. Remove the flag by tapping the cross icon.
  • View campsite or motorhome pitch details: Tap the tent or motorhome icon. A brief overview will appear. Tap this to see full details and facilities.

6. Does the app work without an internet connection?

  • If you have downloaded the campsite information, you can search on the map and view campsite details as normal.
  • You need an internet connection to send a booking request or email.
  • You need an internet connection to plan your route.
  • You need an internet connection to submit a review. If you write a review while offline, it will be saved and submitted once you're back online.

Do you have internet, but only via a 4G connection? Then press 'Offline' when searching on the map. This way, you won’t use any data. The offline map is shown to the right.

7. What do the different icons in the app mean?

Go to ‘More’ and then ‘Legend’ for an explanation of the icons you’ll find in the app.

8. List view

You can also view campsites in a list instead of on the map. To do this, press ‘List view’.

  • The list is automatically sorted by ‘Recommended’. You can change the order, for example by distance, price, or rating.
  • Note: the distance shown is as the crow flies. The actual driving distance to the campsite may be longer.
  • Tap a campsite or motorhome pitch in the list to view all the information.

9. Using the search bar

You’ll find the search bar at the top of the map. Here you can search by campsite name, town, or region.

  • Type a keyword, for example ‘Chateau’.
  • You will now see campsites with ‘chateau’ in the name.
  • You can also tap on ‘Town’ or ‘Region’. This will show towns or regions with ‘chateau’ in the name.

10. Using search filters

In the search bar, you’ll see a filter icon. Tap it to search for campsites using filters – for example, campsites that allow dogs.

Under ‘My filters’ you can view the filters you’ve applied. You can set multiple filters, such as ‘outdoor swimming pool’ and ‘motorhomes allowed’.

To remove filters, simply tap the filter icon again and then press ‘Clear’.

11. Saving favourites, planning a route, and viewing a campsite's website

  • Save a campsite as a favourite: tap the heart icon.
  • Plan a route: tap the car icon on the campsite detail page. This will open Google Maps with the route to the campsite.
  • View the campsite’s website: for some campsites, you can view their website. Tap the globe icon.

12. Booking directly

More and more campsites can now be booked directly via the app. Just tap ‘Book now’.

You can also email or call the campsite directly from the app. A booking is only final once the campsite has confirmed it.

13. Reviewing a campsite

Tap ‘Review’ to read reviews of the campsite. You can also leave your own review to help other campers.

It is currently not possible to leave a review for motorhome pitches.

14. Settings, my account, and contact

Tap ‘More’ to change your app settings (such as the language) and to view your account and subscription information. You’ll also find ACSI contact details here.

Want to update your personal details? Such as your address, phone number, or number plate? Go to your My ACSI account and update your details.

15. Using the app on multiple devices

You can use the app on 3 devices simultaneously with one My ACSI account.

Going on holiday with your partner? You can both install the app on your smartphones, and also use it on a tablet.

All you need to do is download the app and log in with the same My ACSI account.
