A beautiful spot in Rocamadour
KOAWA Les Cigales Campsite is located in a beautiful spot: on the outskirts of Rocamadour, France. This town is built atop rocky cliffs in the wooded region of Lot. The old town is quite touristy - and rightly so given its extreme beauty. But you will be camping just outside of that area in a quiet location among the woods. Directly across from the campsite is La Forêt des Singes. This primate forest is teeming with friendly, free-roaming macaques. Perfect for a first outing together with the kids.
Shaded camping pitches
At KOAWA Les Cigales Campsite, nature is given free reign. Within certain limits, of course, as the campsite is very well maintained. Just don't expect to see neatly trimmed hedges. The grounds, however, are full of old trees and beautiful plants. These help demarcate the spacious pitches. You can set up your caravan, camper or tent under one of the trees. A shady pitch is a wonderful place to spend your holiday.
