Castles, vineyards and picturesque villages characterise the area surrounding Camping de l’Etang in Brissac-Quincé. You camp here on the old farm grounds of the Château of Brissac, an authentic and vast area which is eminently suitable for rest and relaxation. The large pond adjacent to the campsite, abound with carp and sun perch, is popular with anglers.

Glamping on the campsite

The terrain measures approximately 8 ha, but you are not allowed to drive your pegs into the ground or turn out the caravan legs just anywhere. This is only allowed on one of the 100 easily accessible pitches which measure at least 100 m2. There are forty rental cottages, chalets and safari tents. The most beautiful accommodation units are undoubtedly the huts with their own porch and jetty, located at the fishing pond.

Children keep themselves busy

This is absolutely fantastic for children. When they discover the adjacent adventure park with water slides, pedal boats, a mini train and many more great attractions, there is no holding them back. Camping guests are given a discount on the entrance fee. Young and old can participate in all activities organised by the entertainment team.

The campsite vineyard

The domain produces a fruity rosé, a delectable white wine and a red wine. Each week you can taste these wines freely on the wine-tasting tour. The restaurant borders the swimming pool. You can also relax on a sunny terrace.

In the camping shop you can buy daily fresh bread and croissants as well as regional products and, of course, the campsite wines.

"Beautifully landscaped family campsite in the wine landscape at Brissac-Quincé. Many sports and leisure options, 2 swimming pools, one covered and heated. Next to the campsite is a large activity park with lots of play opportunities for children (discount for campers). Extra on this campsite, there are also workplaces created for people with disabilities."

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - This is the friendliest campsite that I have ever stayed on. We have been to stay each summer for the last three years. They always have a great team running the kids club and have just the right amount of entertainment with wine tasting, live music once a week, family friendly karaoke and of course the mini-disco. Our kids are always desperate to come back and we love the place. It is a beautiful area with a great activity park opposite, a lovely little town with a good market and vineyards you can cycle up to for wine tasting.
Disliked - Not really. The pathway surface had been improved this year.’

Liked - The accommodation was nice and what we expected.
The site was very child friendly and seemed safe and secure. Lots for the kids to do.
Disliked - I would have liked proper pillows on the bed.
Paid for towels and we got bath towels. It would have been handy to have a hand towel too and maybe even a kitchen towel for drying up dishes.
WiFi did not work at our chalet and even when we did pick it up, it was very slow.

Liked - The staff could not have been more helpful and the cleaning staff work very hard. The vineyard tour and wine tasting help us have a better understanding of main harvest of the area. The site is in a very peaceful spot and great for unwinding. Brissac is a lovely short walk away and has enough interest to keep you in the area for a week with other nice places of interest a short drive away. The area is great for fishing, cycling and walking and appears to have a great micro climate. The pool is well looked after and the local boulangerie supplies great breads.
Disliked - I didn’t have time to stay longer.

Liked - The choice of pitches, low noise, excellent pools
Disliked - Having only one set of bins in a corner means quite a trek if you happen to be at the other end of the site.
It would be good to have urinals in addition to flushing toilets.

Liked - Very friendly & helpful staff. Good sized pitches & clean sanitary blocks. Pool & bar area very welcome, plus good selection of snacks food. Shop in reception. I will definitely stay here again.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Extremely thoughtful staff who were very kind in helping us sort out some tyres that we needed replacing. Also provided lots of information about cycle routes in the area which helped us make the most of our trip. We love the philosophy of this site with adults with learning difficulties helping out. Green site with large pitches and convenient water at each pitch. The pool was open and accessible for most of the day. It was good to have a large pool for swimming and another for the children to play in. A short walk or cycle to the town of Brissac and the beautiful chateau.
Disliked - Snack bar had limited choice of food but a comfortable, relaxing place to have a drink.
