South of the Luberon, 2 km from the village of Cucuron, lies campsite Le Moulin à Vent. From here you have a beautiful view of the mountains. The spacious campsite in natural setting can be found between vineyards and orchards and measures some 2.5 ha. There are many old oak trees on the grounds. The region is quite touristy with a large number of attractions and many small, characteristic Provençal villages.

Fresh breakfast
Le Moulin à Vent is a real nature campsite in a forest providing lots of shade. The pitches are spacious, not all the same size and laid out on terraces. The campsite does not have its own swimming pool; the nearest place for swimming is a lake, some 10 km away. The campsite also does not have a restaurant. Coffee, bread and breakfast can be obtained from the reception. A caterer stops by once a week.
Walking and cycling
You will find a great many signposted walking and cycling routes in the area, as well as the regional nature reserve Luberon, to the north of the campsite. A visit to one or more wineries surrounding the campsite is also a possibility, of course.
Surroundings
Camping Le Moulin à Vent would serve as an excellent base for a longer sojourn in the Provence. Its central location allows you to make day trips to several interesting sights before returning to the peace and quiet of Cucuron at the end of the day. You could, for instance, visit the flamingoes of the Camargue, the beaches of Calanques or the Gorges du Verdon.
