In the sunny south-east of France in the Rhône-Alpes region, you will find Campsite Thoissy Val de Saône where you can enjoy holidays in a natural environment with many great attractions nearby, such as the medieval town of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne. The municipal swimming pool next door is free for campsite guests!

Spacious pitches with shade or sun

Campers have a lot of choice in the type of pitch. On a grassy base, there are spacious pitches under a large tree with plenty of shade. Sunny pitches are also spread out over the well-kept grounds. At the entrance to the campsite, campers can pitch their tents, and the tipi tents, retro caravans, charming cabins and new safari lodges are all around.

Two-way water fun

When the French sun is shining brightly, real water rats naturally want to go into the pool. Within a few steps you are at the edge of the large, heated municipal swimming pool. Access is free for campsite guests. Speed down the long slide or relax on one of the sun loungers. Just what you want. From the terrace on the top of the hill, you have a beautiful view over the swimming pool and in the background the boats sail by on the river. The river is accessible from the campsite through a small gate. This leads to the river bank.

Eating at sunset

After a wonderful day, you can relax together on the charming terrace. In the summer months, there is happy hour at the bar every day at the end of the afternoon. Advantageous! At the waterside they serve snacks, hamburgers, pizza, salads and ice cream. Once a week they serve “moules-frites” (chips and mussels).
