The well maintained terrain of terraced campsite Domaine La Garenne lies against a pine tree-covered hill. As a result you have a lovely view from many pitches. You camp here in Saint-Avit, a village in the heart of the Rhône-Alpes. Especially families with children of primary school age enjoy themselves thoroughly on this campsite.

Very spacious pitches

In front of you lies a sizeable and well maintained terrain. In the lower located section the pitches are partly demarcated. There are a total of fifty very spacious touring pitches (150-300 m2). The sizes vary more or less depending on the season. The spaciousness is great for privacy, but also for larger families that like to stand close to each other.

A round over the campsite and take your pick!

Upon arrival you can do a tour of the camping grounds with a map. The map shows the vacant pitches with a cross, so you can take a closer look. Don't have camping equipment? You can book one of the forty accommodation units (mobile homes and cottages). These are all on an elevated section of the campsite.

Great swimming

The swimming pool complex is adjacent to the cafe terrace. It has three heated pools. Dive in on of the two larger pools or splash around in the toddler pool. The pools are surrounded by a wide, tiled terrace. Ideal for sunbathing (bring your own sun umbrella). The campsite offers an entertainment programme, which is predominantly in French.

Local bites to eat

Great feature on this campsite: local shop owners come and offer their produce here, such as bread, pizzas, grilled chicken, goat's cheese, mustard, jam and olives. Enjoy!

Liked - Nous avons apprécié le calme de l'emplacement boisé, le fait qu'il y ait peu de monde et la proximité avec les activités extérieures. Les animations proposées quotidiennement à nos enfants leur ont beaucoup plu aussi. Tout est là pour passer un séjour tranquille !
Disliked - Tout est là mais ça nous a semblé manquer de peaufinage et professionnalisme : aucune animation prévue pour les adultes, mobil-home assez vieillot (pas de tv ni de WiFi) douche de la salle de bain impossible à réguler... De plus en pleine saison, il doit être compliqué d'accéder à la piscine....

Propreté du camping: piscine, sanitaires....

Disliked - Sanitaires:top la baignoire bébé mais aucun plan à langer pour l habillage de l enfant
Services: un micro ondes pour faire chauffer le biberon des petits serait le bienvenu car nous n avons pas toujours le nécessaire lors d un petit séjour en tente et nous pensions vraiment trouver ce service sur place
le bar: fournir un verre pour les enfants qui veulent de l eau car nous sommes venus en soirée boire un verre en famille et lorsque j ai demandé un verre d eau pour ma plus jeune fille on m.a dit que c était à nous de nous servir au robinet(mais aucun verre ne nous a ete fourni)...

Liked - L'espace et le calme, on n'est vraiment pas les uns sur les autres.
Les 3 belles piscines et particulièrement la pataugeoire pour les petits enfants
Disliked - L'application stricte du règlement de libérer l'emplacement à midi alors qu'il n'était pas réservé après nous
Dommage également que la pataugeoire ne soit pas chauffée
