Camping Simmerschmelz is in a somewhat remote location, in a hilly area amidst the forests of the Eisch Valley and approx. 2 km from the village of Septfontaines. The Eisch Valley, together with the Mamer Valley, is a part of the largest nature reserve of Luxembourg. This beautiful spot is crossed by numerous cycling and walking paths.

Great camping amidst greenery
The camping area is split up in several fields. They are separated from each other by trees and bushes. A part of the pitches is reserved for permanent guests. The tourist pitches are located on the east side at the back of the campsite. The majority of the pitches is rather compact, although a few fairly large pitches are also available. The grounds look very green due to the trees, the bushes, the grass and the forest which starts on the periphery of the campsite.
Restaurant
The campsite is in a fairly remote location. There is a restaurant (reasonably-sized menu) with a terrace overlooking the playground and the lawn behind it.
