A cosy campsite
The small-scale campsite of De Toffe Peer consists of three camping fields, each with its own character. You can choose a spacious pitch in a cosy field completely surrounded by vegetation, or a spot in an open field with a wide view. The camping fields are neatly tended and have partially paved areas: convenient for your caravan or campervan. In addition to the 26 touring pitches, there are also several comfortable rental accommodations available, including an attractive sod house with a box bed.
Little animal friends
The Toffe Peer is a wonderful place for young families. There is a nest swing, a cool play hut, a sandpit and an animal pasture. Fun go-karts allow children to explore the campsite. The chickens, which roam freely on the property, may be fed every day. Of course, there are eggs to collect. Little animal friends may also help care for and cuddle the goats and rabbits.
Ruinerwold, Meppel and Giethoorn
There is no campsite shop at De Toffe Peer, but you don't have to go far for your groceries. In Ruinerwold, three kilometres from the campsite, there is a supermarket. In Meppel, about eight kilometres away, you will find even more supermarkets. It is also a great place for shopping, and there are many fine restaurants.
