A very large site covering a huge area with many different large and small terraces. We don\'t normally like large sites, but you could choose an area to your liking and have the feel of smaller site.

There is a private beach, with good surf, no lifeguard and string currents for small children. There is also a beach on the other side of the bar which is lovely and good for fishing but tidal, very quiet.

The pool was very clean and so were the toilet facilities. The site had a security guard on the door checking who was driving in and out so felt reasonably safe even through it was a large site.

When you arrive, you have to ask for a pitch and they give you a number, you then find yourself a pitch and go back to reception with your number. It was probably the busiest weekend of the year in August and few good prime sea view pitches so with our very large 8m caravan, we walked around first and had to stand in our space to reserve while my husband brough the caravan down to the pitch , it was a bit stressful as many people driving around looking for spaces.

Would thoroughly recommend this site, an hour or less from Santander, a great spot to start if end your trip.

De zee is nabij, Picos 30 minuten rijden. Luidsprekerinstallatie is hinderlijk . Wel aan de prijzige kant.

The most beautiful site we found on the north coast of Spain. Incredible views, almost private beach just breathtaking! Ideally situated to explore the Pecos Europa as well. A bit pricey and hot water to the showers was not reliable but Wow!
