If you are travelling through Sweden and want to explore Stockholm from a campsite, First Camp City-Stockholm is your ideal starting point. Take the bus or bike to this vibrant city and enjoy the sunset over the lake in peace and quiet in the evening at the campsite. This campsite is also a great choice for a longer stay filled with water activities, culture and countryside.

Central, yet quiet

First Camp City-Stockholm is beautifully tucked away between the forests, close to the town of Älta. Here, you are in a central location and yet far away from traffic noise and urban bustle. You will be warmly welcomed at reception, after which you can go to your camping pitch or house. With roughly 75 camping pitches and 12 holiday homes, the campsite is relatively small scale.

Jump into the lake

The campsite is by a lovely lake where you can enjoy swimming in the summer. Small paths through the woods take you to a lovely sandy beach with a playground and jetties. You can also hire kayaks at the campsite. Or try your luck fishing. Enjoy a beautiful sunset over the water in the evening. Now that's what we call a holiday!

By bike to Stockholm

If you would like to visit Stockholm, you have various options. A bus stops close to the campsite and it will take you to the centre in a 30 minutes. But going on a bike is also a nice option. It's about a 15-kilometre cycle to the centre and the route is almost entirely on safe cycle paths.
