Camping Maeva L'Arbre d'Or

We stayed 4 nights in Mid-May 2026. The reception and all staff were friendly. The pitches are ample sized, with good shade. There seem to be only 2 drinking water taps available. 1 didn't work. The other was to the rear of the reception block. Sanitation block was very clean and good showers - but surprisingly no drinking water tap! There were 2 large "commercial" washing machines in the Sanitation block - I asked for a Jeton - I was told - no Jetons - it takes coins. We did a couple of washes on day 1 fine. Our third wash (next day) the machine took our Euros - counted down as it did... I selected temperature and closed the door & pressed the Start button. It just beeped.... I tried several times until I noted that the machine had reset the display! Reception were closed 12 - 16:00 (this was 12:30), so I paid another time at the other machine and got my wash. When I went to reception, I was only offered a Jeton (Token) - the ones that didn't exist! but they refused a refund. We have no need to wash again. We are going out tomorrow and we will leave the site the next morning. We would recommend this site - and indeed we can - unless you you need to use the Washing machines - in which case - At your own risk! No refunds if the machine is faulty! Only a "useless" Jeton!

Bonjour, mon séjour c'est bien passé, piscine sympa chauffée, sanitaire prope, hors mis les punaises un peu envahissent mais ça le propriétaire du camping n'y peu rien, par contre pas de snack à cette période, dommage, sinon camping très calme je recommande cordialement

fantastic campsite.. staff are lovely welcoming speak very good English. site very well located for lakes. pool is lovely and warm and well maintained. they have a fitness centre. love it here.
