Bij aankomst voelde wij ons zeer welkom. Natuurlijk kan het sanitair een opknapbeurt hebben,maar als echte kampeerder heb je genoeg aan een warme douche en een afwasplaats, en dat is er. Het is wel jammer dat de bar/restaurant niet elke dag open is in het naseisoen. De omgevig is schitterend. De camping is een aanrader, wij gaan zeker nog eens terug vooral voor de gezelligheid die Peter en Jitske op deze camping maken.

De gastvrijheid van de camping is erg goed, je wordt zelfs naar je kampeerplaats gebracht. De ligging is erg mooi, alleen het sanitair valt tegen, koude douches, of kranen kapot, veel mensen van ander sanitair gebouw kwamen bij ons douchen, schoonmaak liet te wensen over. Een tip voor de camping, haal de wastafels uit de douchruimten, dan blijven de mensen niet langer dan nodig in de douches, en kunnen ze buiten de doucheruimte tandenpoetsen, opmaken, en haren fohnen. Verder de kinderen hebben genoten en zeker van de spooktocht en lasergamen in de bossen.

Zeer mooie plaatsen met 16 amp stroom. Sanitair toe aan een opknapbeurt, maar nog functioneel.
Leuk entertainmentteam voor de kleintjes.

Wij zijn begin mei een weekje geweest, het was toen prachtig warm weer. Jammer dat het zwembad niet tijdig gevuld was (te begrijpen, het was nog vroeg in het seizoen). De beperkte speeltoestellen in het kleine speeltuintje zijn aan vernieuwing toe. Er is wel nog een grote speelweide. Het dierenparkje is ook leuk voor de kinderen, ze hebben veel gras geplukt om te voederen. Zeer ruime plaatsen, sanitair was ok. Mooie ligging boven op de berg, hotspot aanwezig voor internet.. Wel zeer grote en mooie speeltuin onderaan de berg.

Tijdens ons 3-daags verblijf werd het sanitair in het WE niet schoongemaakt - wel maandagochtend héél vroeg. Het sanitair is dringend aan een opknapbeurt toe - lekkende kranen, kapstokjes die mankeren, deuren die niet goed sluiten, lampkappen vol met insecten, wandtegeltjes die ontbreken, enz...Misschien dat alles nog in orde gezet zal worden tegen het hoogseizoen (?).
Het onthaal en de ontvangst was correct en vriendelijk.
Zéér mooie kampeerplaatsen, en in het laagseizoen geniet men vrije keuze.
Zwembad goed onderhouden.
In de omgeving zijn wandelingen en fietstochten mogelijk, maar info moet men gaan opvragen bij de toeristische dienst te Virton.
