Wij, 2 jonge vijftigers waren op zoek naar een kleine, rustige en vooral goed onderhouden camping. Deze hebben we hier gevonden, een zeer professioneel gerunde kleine camping, de zee zie je niet, wel een prachtig zicht op de bergen. 2 kleine sanitaire blokken basic, alles wat je nodig hebt maar ... o zoo proper, deze worden tijdens de spitsuren permanent gepoetst. De beheerder spreekt oa, Engels, Duits, Frans, Italiaans... . Veiligheid is prioritair voor hem, een goudmijn van praktische informatie, dankzij zijn tips vonden we een gratis parking aan het busstation in de benedenstad van Dubrovnik. De bus tot aan de oude Stad kost 10 kuna (1,4€), kortom, een aanrader!

Deze kleine camping is uitermate geschikt om Dubrovnik te bezoeken. De bus stopt voor de camping. Per boot is ook mogelijk. Men moet wel goed ter been zijn. Sanitair is erg schoon. Niet geschikt voor langer verblijf met kinderen. Zeer aardige eigenaar.

Wij hebben twee weken op deze camping gestaan. Een week langer dan gepland. Reden: een geweldige camping als je van echt kamperen houdt. Onze 4 kinderen 2 tot en met 11 jaar vonden de trappen naar het strand geen enkel probleem. De beheerders van deze camping waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en spraken goed hun talen. Wij komen hier zeker nogmaals terug.

Camping wordt met name gebruikt voor korte periodes. Veel bezoekers die er een of enkele nachten staan en dan doortrekken Wij hebben er ruim 3 weken doorgebracht. Eind van de dag werd het vaak drukker door de toeloop van met name campers. Een deel van de camping is ingericht voor tenten, waar veel jongeren gebruik van maken. Kiezelstrand is bereikbaar via een soort trap, 168 treden, en een hellend pad. Wel in de schaduw gelegen. Directe omgeving voldoende inkoop en eet mogelijkheden. Camping ligt aan een doorgaande weg die behoorlijk druk is, niet merkbaar op de camping, maar wel rekening mee houden, fiets en voetpaden zijn hier niet aanwezig.
