Camping Oase Praag

Het is een heel goed verzorgde camping, vooral het sanitair ook de gastvrijheid van de eigenaar is heel goed. Je wordt redelijk goed in het Nederlands aangesproken, wat mij betreft een 10 voor deze camping en de service.

Well maintained, clean and tidy site. The standard pitches are in a fairly open area while the comfort pitches are individually hedged.
Hot water is limited to 18 litres per unit per day, over that amount there is a charge, however we found the allowance to be more than adequate. Water is metered by use of a swipe card.
Shower blocks are spotlessly clean and spacious. Hot showers are free but are on a timer so you do need to be quite quick, although you can stop and start the shower as necessary.
Excellent on site restaurant with very reasonable prices. There is also a small shop selling fresh bread and limited groceries. Nearest supermarkets are about 3 miles away. There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and activities for children in high season.
There is a bus stop directly outside the site which takes you to the tram connection into Prague or you can drive to the park and ride and use the metro to get into the city although we found you need to be early before the car parks fill up. Public transport, as most other things is very reasonable.
We found the site excellent for visiting Prague but also set in nice countryside for quieter days. Would definitely recommend.

Easily the best camp I've stayed in while traveling the Czech Republic. The sanitary facilities were flawless (clean, the individual showers and toilets large enough, plenty of places to hang your things), the camping pitch very large and well mantained.
The camp has pitches of different range. The regular pitches are set somewhat "outside" the main area, apparently a new addition. There is little shade in that area and no water near the pitches, just electricity. The comfort pitches (regular - 100m2 and large 150m2) are "inside" the main area, with plenty of shade, water and electricity.
If you wish to use plastic covers for the floor, you need to "disclose" that at the reception and pay an additional 100 CZK per day. If you don't do that, you will be fined 500 CZK (however the ground is grass and very well maintained, so I see no reason to use any covers). You also need to "disclose" if you have any pets or if you have an extra tent.

We hebben hier begin juni 2011 enkele dagen gestaan voor bezoek aan Praag, kan zowel met bus, halte voor camping (rijdt op zondag 1 keer per 3 uur) of met auto naar bewaakt p-plaats (hele dag voor 10 kroon (!?) op 10 km afstand, dan verder met metro. Nette, correcte behandeling, gratis internet. Ruime plaatsen en keurig sanitair. Restaurant slecht. Haren in eten, teruggestuurd 2e keer erg vet, niet gaar. Andere kok ?? Restaurant voor ons geen aanrader, de camping wel.

Vi var pĺ sommerferie i Tjekkiet og havde en uge pĺ Oase, en rigtig dejlig campingplads, med meget venligt personale, og dejlige faciliteter, kan bestemt anbefales.
