Een camping zoals een camping behoort te zijn. We kregen een keurige ontvangst met nette plaatsen, waarvan sommigen aan zee (tegen meerprijs). Een geweldig sanitairgebouw. Heel goed onderhouden en schoongehouden. Kortom: een lust om daar te zijn. Menig camping-eigenaar kan hier een voorbeeld aan nemen.

Een parel aan de noordwestkust van Fynen. Direct aan het Kattegat en toch midden in het schilderachtige en kleinste koopstadje van Denemarken, Bogense. De camping is modern met nieuwe en zeer schone faciliteiten. De kampeerplaatsen zijn ietwat aan de kleine kant, maar de meeste kijken uit op het water (en zonsondergang). Bogense is een gezelling stadje met een markt (Torvet) met typisch gekleurde deense huisjes, Een vissers-, en jachthaven, leuke restaurantjes en zelfs het origineel van Manneken Pis in de Adelgade (copi staat in Brussel). Bogense / Camping ligt in en vlak gebied op Funen en is een van de weinige delen van Denemarken met dijken. Hier is het goed fietsen. Of ga te voet naar Æbelø, een onbewoond maar natuurschoon eilandje. Funen (Fyn) is een een stukje Denemarken op z'n best. 'Kystcamping' in Bogense is een goed uitgangspunt. In de maand juli wel even bellen of er plaats is!
