Kleinschalige camping met vrijwel uitsluitend Nederlanders in mooie omgeving. Uitbaters kennen de omgeving goed. "aparte" eigenaren die wel eens erg knorrig op kinderen over kunnen komen en erg op de regeltjes gesteld zijn: het is de toon die de muziek maakt. Verder in de basis vriendelijke mensen die leuke dingen organiseren! Mooi zwembad, ietwat ingewikkeld sanitair en ruime plekken. Brood op de camping, supermarkt 10 km rijden. Op loopafstand dorpje met mindere pizzaria en kleine supermarkt (3x zo duur als normaal).

Camping in Frankrijk maar met Brabantse gastvrijheid. De kampeerplekken zijn in sommige gevallen niet groot en liggen veelal niet waterpas. Bij regenval zijn sommige plaatsen erg drassig. Kortom dit moge toch geen beletsel zijn. Zijn er tot nu toe tweemaal geweest (2004 en 2010) en gaan er zeker weer een eer naartoe.

Wij komen om de zoveel jaren (meestal bij voetbal Europese- en Wereldkampioenschappen). Dit jaar een nieuwe gehele toiletgroep. Ook een nieuw gratis systeem dat ruimschoots genoeg is voor het douchen en afwassen. Ondanks het slechte weer hebben wij ons dit jaar weer uitstekend vermaakt, hetgeen zeer zeker ook komt door de goede en gezellige diners door de uitbaters bereid. De Tap was een welkome aanschaf. Eens zal wel de elektriciteit verbeterd moeten worden.

Bij toeval op deze camping terechtgekomen, waar wij zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij zijn ontvangen. Dit is een camping waar veel rust en samenhorigheid onder de gasten is. Het echtpaar dat de camping runt, is zeer behulpzaam en probeert aan al zijn gasten een prettig verblijf aan te bieden. Wij hebben enorm genoten van deze vakantie op camping le Mondou. Alle lof voor de eigenaars.
