Vorig jaar geweest nu opnieuw ivm de ligging de goede sportfaciliteiten (met name surfen, fietsen en golf zeer dichtbij), de sfeer en ondanks de grootte toch een rustige camping. Het achterland is niet spectaculair maar leuk met veel bos en 2 grote meren. Lacanau-Ocean is een leuk plaatsje waar je je 30 jaar terug waant (in de goede zin).

Einfach toll! Ruhig, sauber. Sehr guter Campingplatz sowohl für Surfer, Strandfans oder Radfahrer. Sehr gutes Leistungspreisverhältnis. Tolles Schwimmbad. Tolle Gegend.

Einfach wunderschön! Erholsam, viel Platz, jetzt noch ruhig, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

In de meivakantie hier 3 nachten in de tent doorgebracht. Opa, oma, papa, mama en twee (klein)dochters, 10 en 7 jaar. O ja, ook nog 2 oude honden. Het was best druk voor de tijd van het jaar, gezellig en toch rustig. Wel vreselijk stoffig, overal lag een zwarte waas overheen. Een echte vakantiefabriek, alles liep als een goed geoliede machine, wel een beetje onpersoonlijk. Sanitair erg goed en erg goed onderhouden. Beetje kleine plaatsen, maar dat zal wel door de ligging aan de kust komen. Dure grond, he? De mobile-homes staan helemaal vreselijk dicht op elkaar, op een paar uitzonderingen na. Geen aanrader als je slecht ter been bent, veel trappen met ongelijke treden en zonder leuning. Leuke markt in Lacanau op woensdag. Goed en verwarmd zwembad, met jacuzzi. Maar ook wel veel beperkingen. Geen bal, geen shorts (waarom is dat toch?) enz. Goed gesorteerde winkel, zelfs in het voorseizoen.
