Een vaste stop op onze tocht naar het zuiden. Een prima camping voor kampeerders die niet in de drukte van de kustplaatsen willen zitten, maar liever kamperen in de mooie, soms ongerepte natuur. De stranden en de supermarkten zijn per auto en fiets goed bereikbaar.( er zijn uitstekende fietspaden aangelegd). De Nederlands sprekende eigenaar zorgt ervoor dat zijn gasten niets te kort komen. Het sanitair is in 2010 volledig gerenoveerd. Een deel van camping ligt idyllisch aan een riviertje onder eeuwenoude eikenbomen. Het bestelde brood ligt 's morgens voor de tent klaar. In de omgeving is veel moois te ontdekken. Ook per kano.

Rustige familiecamping met zeer vriendelijke, nederlands-sprekende eigenaar. Hij heeft de camping net overgenomen en gaat hem deze winter helemaal opknappen (sanitairblokken worden nieuw). Leuk met de kano langs de camping! Even van zee af en dus geen drukte, maar wel gezelligheid en je rijdt gewoon even naar het strand, waar de zon altijd schijnt. Je kunt er fietsen huren, er wordt goed gekookt, kooklessen nemen en er is een zwembad(je). Net leuk om even te zewemmen. Midgetgolf was net opgeknapt, tafeltennis, en jeu de bouletoernooien. Wat oude dorpjes in de omgeving en een mooi meer. Mimizan Bourg en - Plage zijn leuk. Een aanrader voor wie van rust, maar toch gezelligheid houdt.
