Camping fort bruyant, animation jusqu’à minuit. Pas de papier dans les toilettes. Environnement très beau. Activités variées : vélo, marche bateau...

A lovely site by lake Sanguinet; we tour with our caravan 'hors de saison' so we do not expect the site shop and café to be open. There are cycle paths around some of Lake Sanguinet, with some very pleasant beaches suitable for small children. On the opposite side of the Lake is a seaplane museum. The very pleasant village of Sanguinet is close by with a supermarket, café, restaurants, and shops; further afield by about 10 kilometres there are two hypermarchés in the town of Biscarrosse Bourg. Biscarosse Plage, a further 6 kilometres is the wide and long Atlantic beach. Further afield is the lovely Edwardian town of Arcachon where one can eat Oysters and moules frites.

The low score for the pitch is because there are no water facilities for campers and caravanners other than a single motorhome service point or to use the sanitary block.

However, the position of the site (for good windsurfing) the lovey towns and villages, and the friendly site staff means I will go there again.

Très belle endroit, domage que les services resto et pain soit fermer début septembre, mais il y a un intermarcher et un restaurant à environ 1 kilomètre. Idéale pour le tranquilité hors saison. Possibilité de faire du vélo au départ du camping et treè belle plage de sable en face du camping. Je suis rester 4 nuits.

Redelijke camping, plaatsen niet verhard zwart (smerig) zand. Fietspadennet in de buurt: 2 strookjes van 3 kilometer fietspad is alles! Wel mooi meer direct aan de camping.

Weinig Privacy. Kleine plaatsen. De plaatsen zijn niet (half-verhard) maar bestaan uit zwart zand. Dragen polsbandje verplicht. Zwembad reeds om 19:00 uur gesloten. Boxershorts niet toegestaan. Animatie alleen in het Frans. Rommelige en groezelige faciliteiten. Vanwege storm begin 2009 enorme kaalslag, dus alleen jonge (kleine)boompjes. Erg duur voor geboden kwaliteit. Personeel is vriendelijk en correct.
Ligging niet aan zee, zoals soms gesuggereerd wordt, maar aan ondiep (zoetwater) meer.
