We stayed as a family of 3 in a tent on pitch 26, under the trees on the left hand side as you enter the campsite and we were very disappointed with the pitch. Whilst a large pitch as advertised >10M x 10M, at least 2.5 M was unusable as it was on a steep slope from the tree line. It was also completely compacted clay/mud with no grass whatsoever which when it rained turned into a bog, which did not allow us anywhere to sit outside the tent to eat/relax without getting dirty. We also had no benefit of the sun whatsoever unlike the pitches around the pool which were far far better and some offered views into the valley (at the far end). The toilet facilities were modern and always clean however very little hot water was available for the ladies showers. The owner was very pleasant and the pool and newly added slide a nice touch. On the whole a nice site but one which i would not recommend due to the variability of the pitches (unless of course you can guarantee your pitch)

just returned from our very first ever camping experience.what a great time we all had, our six year old spent most of the day at the pool or on the trampiline. Johanna the owner, runs the site very professionally.and makes everyone feel very welcome, especially all the children. The toilets were always clean and always well stocked. There was always plenty of showers with loads of hot water. The only little gripe was that the taps to wash the dishes were a bit on the small side.not a big problem
