Route:

From Orthez to Salies-de-Béarn, follow diversion route and then the D933 towards Sauveterre-de-Béarn, 3 km past Salies, on the east of the D933. From North do not turn left for your own safety. Turn around at next exit. Signposted.

A lovely site in a beautiful area with lots to do. Very friendly owner with lots of information about walks etc. Good swimming pool. The only drawback there is some road noise, though that might not bother most people - where we live there is no noise - and we stayed four nights.

Visited in march on our way back from Spain. It was very quiet which you would expect at that time of the year. The dutch owner is a lovely lady. The site has a rustic charm and we would visit again.

Vriendelijke eigenaresse, prachtige kampeerplekken met mooi uitzicht. Bakker komt elke ochtend langs met brood. Af en toe wordt er gekookt voor de campinggasten. De jeule de boule avonden waren erg gezellig. Veel gasten waren er al eens eerder geweest. Ook wij komen zeer zeker nog eens aan.

Prachtig landelijk gelegen camping met overal prachtig uitzicht op de heuvels. Bijna alleen tenten op 4 verschillende velden. Elke dag paardrijles mogelijk in de stal en de kinderen mogen helpen met verzorgen. Voor gevorderden buitenritten te maken! Klein maar lekker zwembad, trampolines, en de bakker komt dagelijks langs. Eten niet mogelijk, wel drankjes en ijs te verkrijgen op terras. Veel te zien in de omgeving. Wij zijn naar Pamplona, St Jean Pied-de-Port, Col du Tourmalet en Lourdes geweest. De kust en San Sebastian op ongeveer 1 uur rijden.

We logeren op camping Domaine d'Eperbasque op een kilometer of 2 van Salies-de-Béarn. De camping ligt landelijk, op een heuvel. Er zijn 4 aparte velden, allemaal met prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving. De camping wordt goed bewegwijzerd. Op oprit naar de camping vonden wij gevaarlijk. Vanaf een drukke 3-baans-weg moet de weg worden overgestoken. Volgens de man aan de receptie wordt er binnenkort een bord geplaatst om de een veilige toerit aan te geven. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Behalve het standaardgebeuren kun je hier zwemmen, paardrijden en 's morgens komt de bakker met vers brood. Het sanitair ziet er verzorgd en schoon uit. Vanaf deze camping hebben wij St. Jean de Pied de Port, Salies, Sauveterre en Béarn, Navarrenx en Orthez bezocht.
