Route:

A63 Bayonne-St. Sebastián, exit 4 Biarritz. Then take the D810 (formerly RN10) direction St. Jean-de-Luz. The camp site is signposted on the left of the road just beyond the centre of Bidart and is located about 400 metres from the D810.

De camping was vol eind augustus, we kregen een klein plekje aan de rand voor een nacht om dan de volgende dag te verhuizen naar een grotere en betere plek. 's Avonds veel lawaai van de animatie, dus meteen de volgende dag vertrokken. Het strand is toch wel een flink stuk lopen vanaf de camping, circa 1 km.

Camping trés bien situé pour une halte direction l'Espagne.
L'acceuil est trés bon, les parcelles bien délimitées et les sanitaires trés propres.

Fijne camping, grote ruime plaatsen met gras! Mooi zwembad, met aantal parasols en flink aantal ligbedden. Schoon en zeer net sanitair (mannen en vrouwens overigens niet gescheiden, ideaal tegen lange wachttijden en net zo gezellig om samen tanden te poetsen. Vlakbij strand, straat uit(of langs riviertje lopen)en je bent er. Binnen 10min sta je bij de Spaanse grens.
Omgeving is fraai; bergen en een mooi strand met grote golven. Ideaal voor de watersport, maar ook om gewoon in te zwemmen.
Bij receptie genoeg aanbod van folders om iets te ondernemen in de omgeving. Tevens ook klein aanbod van benodigdheden zoals frisdrank, broodbeleg etc. Er is de mogelijkheid om broodjes te bestellen voor de volgende ochtend. Grote supermarkten met enorm veel keuze op zo'n 3 km.
Dorpje Bidart zelf is op 600 meter. Klein, maar wel gezellig.
In deze periode waren er veel Nederlands (met name 55+). Camping wordt zowel voor doortocht als voor langere tijd gebruikt (plekken lenen zich hier uitstekend voor).

Camping gebruikt op doorreis naar Spanje/Portugal.
Mooie en schone camping met ruime plaatsen. Perfect toiletgebouw is schoon. Ligt gunstig aan de auto route. Alleen men moet wat smallere straatjes door om er te komen! Voor mij was dat geen probleem, met een grote caravan met een lengte van ruim 7 meter !
Maar wel even opletten !

Still quite full at beginning of September, toilets and showers clean although only warm water, staff appeared jaded at the end of the season, food in restaurant was very basic. First class plots with grass and good shade. Very clean and tidy site. Good base to tour a beautiful part of France.
