Camping met grote afgescheiden plekken. Sanitair is netjes en schoon, douches zijn lekker warm. Wel jammer om zelf met je rolletjes wc papier te moeten lopen. Camping is goede plek om van hieruit alle D-Day invasiestranden te bekijken en waar het informatiecentrum bij de Amerikaanse begraafplaats veel informatie, materiaal en beelden over D-Day en WO II geeft. Heel indrukwekkend. Camping is rustig en keurig verzorgd. Voor alle leeftijden geschikt. Gedeelte met stacaravans is afgescheiden van kampeergedeelte.

Dit is een mooie, rustige camping in le Bessin, een prachtig gedeelte van Normandie. Het ontvangst is hartelijk. De Nederlandstalige documentatie over de omgeving perfect. De wandeling over een nabijgelegen stoeterij is meer dan de moeite waard, waarbij het jammer was dat we de Franstalige uitleg slechts beperkt verstonden (eigen schuld). Je kunt in de omgeving heerlijk wandelen en fietsen en de geschiedenis van de omgeving (WOII en Willem de Veroveraar) zorgen voor indrukwekkende beelden. De camping is voor de kampeerder die niet van massaliteit houdt een echte aanrader. Grote afgescheiden kampeervakken (meer dan 100 m) met schaduwplekken en electriciteit indien gewenst. Er is een bar met draadloze internet toegang. Het buffet voor afhaalmaaltijden laat te wensen over en dus wat ons betreft geen aanrader. Bij een volgende reis naar Normandie zal dit zeker onze uitvalbasis worden.

Mooie rustige camping niet ver van de d-day stranden. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijke douches. Netjes. Aanbeveling!

Ein wunderschöner, ruhiger und gepflegter Platz. Große, gut abgetrennte Stellplätze.Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl auf diesem Platz.
