Eigenaren doen alles om je te helpen als er iets is, zijn erg hulpvaardig en gastvrij. Organiseren leuke activiteiten voor jong en oud. Gezellige camping. Onze kinderen willen hier eigenlijk elk jaar wel heen. Eigenaren zijn Nederlanders wat ook wel makkelijk is. Op loopafstand van het dorp. Kinderen konden zelf makkelijk naar de bakker om brood te halen!

De fotos op deze site zijn niet meer up to date. Zwembad is aangepast (nieuw hek en peuterbadje). Camping is goed onderhanden genomen. We hebben een super vakantie gehad ondanks het mindere weer. Maar was overal wel geloof ik. Animatie was perfect en de kinderen hadden het enorm naar hun zin. Gezellige kleine camping die uitermate geschikt is voor gezinnen met kleinere kinderen. Bakker en winkeltje op 300 m lopen (bakker zelfs open om 06.30 uur !). Grote Super U op 500m. De familie Smit heeft er tot nu toe zeker een leuke camping van gemaakt. Perfecte gastheer en gastvrouw (en niet hun 3 kinderen te vergeten)! Wij komen zeker terug !

Wij hebben een hele leuke vakantie gehad op camping La Garenne. De campingeigenaren zijn heel enthousiast. Onze kinderen van 9 en 11 hebben zich prima vermaakt en aan een aantal op de camping georganiseerde activiteiten deelgenomen, zoals de bingo, het smokkelspel, het avondzwemmen in het zwembad en het pannenkoeken eten. Vanuit de camping werden leuke activiteiten op locatie georganiseerd. Wij hebben meegedaan met het zeilen, mountainbiken, het rotsklimmen en met de band achter de speedboot (deelname kostte € 6,50 p.p. - de band € 5,00). In directe omgeving is veel te doen, zoals het mooie meer met zandstrand op 3 km afstand, mooie dorpjes Gargilesse en Crozant op ca. 10 km, riviertjes waar je langs kunt wandelen, de stuwdam en een leuk restaurant op 3 km Le Cottage. Het labyrinth en het wolvenpark liggen op ca. 45 minuten rijden en zijn leuk om te doen. Al met al is de camping en omgeving een echte aanrader voor gezinnen met kinderen tot zo'n 15 jaar.

Bijzonder vriendelijke en hulpvaardige ontvangst. In november op doorreis naar huis in de regen, vonden wij een prima plaatsje.
Lekker warme en keurige sanitairunit voor zulke koude overnachtingen.

I was here in October when it was very quiet. Our reception was super and we pitched on hardstanding beside facilities. We were very impressed with everything and will definitely return. Though only intending to pass through, we stayed a week. Many thanks.
