Ik wil graag iets vertellen over de vriendelijkheid van de campingbeheerder. Wij spreken trouwens geen Frans. Na een lange pechdag kwamen wij om negen uur in het donker bij de camping aan. De poort stond nog open, maar de receptie was dicht. Om niet op de weg te blijven staan parkeren we onze combinatie voor de poort, die trouwens normaal om tien uur sluit. omdat de beheerders vaak op de camping bivakkeren wilden we even kijken of we de man zagen om te vragen of we er alsnog konden overnachten. We zagen hem niet, maar kwamen wel een paar Nederlanders tegen, die hier wel vaker geweest waren. Wij vroegen of zij misschien wisten of de beheerder eer bezwaar tegen zou hebben als we de caravan plaatste en de andere ochtend ons zouden aanmelden. Volgens hun was dat geen probleem, alleen heeft de beheerder wel een gebruiksaanwijzing. Hierdoor zeggen wij nog; "Oh, dan kunnen we beter ergens op een parkeerterrein overnachten en dan zien we het morgen wel".

Wij hebben in mei 2008, daar een paar dagen gestaan. Zeer rustige camping en een mooie omgeving. Vriendelijke eigenaar en schoon sanitair. Hebben ook een wifi punt, maar dat was niet goedkoop (6 euro per uur). Vlak achter de camping loopt de Rhone en in de omgeving is genoeg te zien. Je kan er ook heel goed fietstochten maken. Zeker een aanrader.

Wij hebben in mei/juni 2007 bijna 4 weken op deze camping gestaan. Sanitair is prima. Zeer ruime plaatsen (110 tot 150 m2) op iedere plaats water en stroom (10 ampere). Er zijn plaatsen in de schaduw, half schaduw en in de zon. Camping ziet er super verzorgd uit. Alles is opgeruimd en de heggen en gras is gesnoeid. Vriendelijke 60+ beheerder (hulp beheerder 89 jaar). Sanitair wordt iedere dag door poetsvrouw schoon gemaakt. Zwembad 25 x 8 meter. 1,20 tot 1,70 diep. In het mooie dorp is een bakker, slager en kruidenier. Ook zijn er 2 gelegenheden om te eten tegen een redelijke prijs. Belangrijk zijn de stieren gevechten die in de arena (150 meter van de camping) af gehouden worden. Dit gaat zonder bloed en is reuze spannend. Meestal gratis te zien. De camping ligt 100 meter van de Rhone. Men hoort wel de schepen langs komen maar ziet ze niet (zit een dijk tussen). In Tarrascon (6 km) en Baucare (7 km) zijn supermarkten (Lidl) markten en winkeltjes. Er was maar een minpuntje; wij moesten de caravan afsluiten want er was een insluiper actief. De campingeigenaar heeft extra prikkeldraad gemaakt toen wij er stonden. Er is veel moois te zien binnen een straal van 25 km. Zowel natuur als mooie dorpen. Arles op 25 km is zeker de moeite waard. Het is er vlak dus je kan goed met de fiets de omgeving verkennen. Kortom een aanrader!

Super nette Camping, ordentlich und sauber. Für das morgendliche Brötchen holen gibt es einen pitoresken Spaziergang von einer halben Stunde unter Bäumen und der Arena entlang. Und auch der Besitzer ist ein freunlicher und humorvoller Mann, vorausgesetzt dass Sie französisch sprechen.
