Rustige camping met ruime plaatsen. Door indeling met terrassen heb je veel privacy. Het natuurlijke meertje op de camping is lekker om te zwemmen. Sanitair wordt regelmatig en goed schoon gemaakt. Sanitair is wel oud en daardoor wat krakkemikkig. Eten en drinken is niet bijzonder op de camping, maar de winkels in het dorp zijn vlakbij, dus geen probleem. Wel goede broodservice aanwezig. De nachten zijn fris, dus warme spullen meenemen.

Wij, mijn echtgenote en ik, hebben weer volop genoten van onze vakantie op Camping Goudal met z'n vriendelijke campingeigenaren. Wij waren met z'n tweeën, maar uit mijn ooghoeken zag ik dat de jeugd zich kostelijk amuseerde met de geboden animatie. Het was lange tijd heet en dat bracht op een gegeven moment wat strubbelingen voor wat betreft de watervoorziening.

Er was een dag beperkt water beschikbaar en enige improvisatie was geboden. Er werd een beroep gedaan op de gasten et betrekking tot het watergebruik. Als goed kampeerder moet je wat flexibiliteit hebben om daar op dat moment mee om te gaan. Sommige kampeerders hebben dat niet en blazen dan gelijk hoog van de toren en kraken dan meteen maar een heleboel dingen af.

Helaas niet hele verhaal: Eigenaren hartelijk en enthousiast. Te overbevolkt. Er zijn positieve dingen, maar voor ons en veel mede gasten goldt toch het volgende: Sanitair van voor WOII, inclusief de bijbehorende avondklok (alleen maar douchen(niet eens lavabo) van 8-11u en 17-23u). Bovendien lauw/weinig water. Tevens door de slecht gewaarborgde watervoorziening zelfs 1 middag GEEN water op de camping, met onder andere na de grote boodschap niet doorgespoelde toiletpot. Uit de kluiten gewassen camping, weliswaar als bedrijf gerund, kan vraag niet aan. Jammer, want het enthousiasme van de eigenaren is bewonderingswaardig. Leuke camping voor gezinnen die hygiene niet belangrijk vinden, en het ook niet erg vinden dat er na 00u toch nog herrie is. Een ervaring uit het lijstje van de 4 slechtste campings van de bijna 100 die we inmiddels in Frankrijk bezocht hebben. Dit komt voornamelijk op het conto van de sanitaire misstanden.

Een hele prettige en mooie camping. Veel dieren in het wild te zien. Leuke (sport)activiteiten en animatie, niet overdreven, net leuk. De kinderen hebben genoten van het outdoor- en avonturenkamp. Hele fijne eigenaars en overig personeel. Wij stonden op een goede, ruime plek. Jammer dat het 's avonds en 's nachts zo koud was. Over het sanitair was nagedacht, lekker douchen zonder dat je kleren nat worden, plankjes en haakjes op de juiste plaatsen. Het meertje is leuk, met salamanders en kikkervisjes. Gezellig barretje alleen de Table d'hôte die op de website vermeld staat, heeft, tenminste tijdens ons verblijf, niet plaatsgevonden. De stroom kon het af en toe niet trekken maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Al met al hebben wij een hele leuke vakantie gehad.
