Wij hebben dit jaar voor het eerst op La Vaurette gekampeerd en het is ons prima bevallen. Mooie kampeerplek, vriendelijk personeel, het sanitair was goed maar afwaswater was niet warm en de douches vaak ook niet. Er wordt genoeg georganiseerd op de camping. De omgeving is mooi, je moet wel altijd met de auto op pad wat wij wel jammer vinden, het dichtsbijzijnde dorp ligt op 10 km afstand. Wij houden van afwisseling dus gaan we niet direct volgend jaar terug maar het is zeker een camping die we niet snel vergeten.

We hebben hier in september een prachtig verblijf van 14 dagen gehad. Mooie omgeving met prachtig pittoreske stadjes. De camping was goed verzorgd en prachtig uitzicht op de Dordogne. Misschien een klein puntje van kritiek, het water voor de afwas mocht voor ons warmer zijn, maar voor de rest was alles O.K. We komen hier zeker nog terug. Lekker brood te verkrijgen aan de receptie. Prachtig zwembad. Vriendelijke eigenaars en personeel.

Le Vaurette is een heel plezierige camping. Erg mooie ligging, veel mooie uitstapjes te maken in de omgeving en een heel vriendelijke, behulpzame leiding. Het ligt er wel aan op welk gedeelte van de camping je staat, hoe je het verblijf beoordeelt. Sta je dicht bij het nieuwe sanitairgebouw dan heb je toch wel echt last van de tieners die 's avonds rondhangen, sta je dicht bij het oude sanitairgebouw dan geniet je van de rust en de natuur. Leuk voor alle leeftijden en wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug. Het is overigens wel een Hollandse enclave in Frankrijk en daar moet je van houden.

We hebben 3 heerlijke weken gehad in augustus 2011. De kinderen hebben zich prima vermaakt in het zwembad en met de activiteiten van de animatie (open podium, lampionnenoptocht, voetbal, knutselen). Het is een prachtige omgeving. De jongeren hadden 's avonds een kampvuur even buiten de camping. Wel veel nederlanders, maar dat vonden onze kinderen juist erg leuk. Vanaf het begin volop vriendjes. Ik kan me goed voorstellen dat sommige mensen er al jaren komen!

In juli 2011 hebben wij hier twee weken gestaan. Sanitair is goed schoon. Veel Nederlanders maar voor de kinderen is dat helemaal niet erg, binnen een dag hebben ze vriendjes. Erg leuk is de rivier en hoe de kinderen er in bootjes en banden vanaf gaan. Nette leiding, eten is niet heel gevarieerd. In de buurt is het rode stadje (Collonges La Rouge) erg leuk om even heen te gaan en ook de watervallen zijn indrukwekkend om te zien. Zeker een aanrader!
