Beetje anders en dat is net wat we zoeken. Rustig, vriendelijk, netjes, het lijkt wel een Nederlandse boerencamping, en alhoewel we van Frankrijk houden, is dat soms een verademing (en neen we zijn geen Nl). Franse campings kunnen immers nog heel wat leren van hun Nederlandse tegenhangers.

La Gabrielle is a peaceful & clean family site.
It has camping & indoor accommodation.
Lovely home cooking is available.
The hosts are very friendly, & helped us a lot.They speak Dutch, English, French & German.
They have farm pet animals & chickens etc.
We really love it there & recommend it highly.

Terreintje met heel veel karakter en bijzonder aardige eigenaren die veel doen en voor je klaar staan. Ook de mogelijkheid om in te schrijven voor Diner aantal keren per week is prachtig met veel aandacht. Zeker een plek om terug te keren en de omgeving te verkennen al wandelend. Ook de nare geschiedenis van de eerste Wereldoorlog is overal voelbaar aanwezig en wekt je interesse in deze geschiedenis, ook al gruw je van oorlogen. Wat hier is geweest, is iets waar je stil van wordt en alleen nog maar kan aanschouwen. Mooi heuvellandschap en heel landelijk en rustig, dus een schriller contrast kan niet.
,,, Ik hoop wel dat ze ooit vergunning krijgen voor wat meer kampeerplaatsen dan deze 6 omdat het wel heel gauw vol is..
