A truly terrific site. Stunning mountain location with magnificent views set in beautiful woodland. Facilities modern, immaculately cleaned daily and the site run by a most delightful group of people. Pool great although unheated so a bit chilly, particularly for children, when the weather is not roasting. Campsite etiquette amazing. Total silence by 21:30 until 09:00, which made for a very restful time. Site patronised mainly by young families and retired folk. No 18-30 here! Easy access on foot to Le Tholy (good range of shops, including good boulangerie) and Gerardmer (all town amenities and a magnificent lake on which to hire boats of all kinds at reasonable rates). All in all, a great stay. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it very highly. The best European site I have ever used.

Schitterrende camping, het gebeurt niet veel dat we langer blijven dan gepland, maar nu was het nog steeds te kort. Sanitair picco bello, zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, eerste klasse standplaatsen. Ik weet niet wat ik van een camping meer moet verwachten.
Of je nu met een tent, camper of in een bungalow logeert, het is een goede plek. Het eetgedeelte/bar mocht iets gezelliger, maar wij maken daar amper gebruik van en het gaf in elk geval geen overlast, meer vragen we niet.

Sanitair was op zich goed. Wordt in de omschrijving "prachtig" genoemd, maar dat is nogal overdreven. En waarom zo'n armoedig straaltje warm water bij de afwasbakken. Iedereen liep zelf met een waterkoker te sjouwen om een beetje warm afwaswater te hebben.
Bij het binnengaan van het toiletgedeelte loop je recht met je gezicht naar de urinoirs. Als daar iemand stond te plassen was dat best genant.

Na een zeer vriendelijke ontvangst mochten wij een plekje zoeken met veel zon en veel privacy. De camping is prachtig gelegen in de uitloper van een dal. Vooral het bovengedeelte is werkelijk prachtig aangelegd; zeer ruime plek, eigen water, het hele terrein is heel schoon en ademt een ontspannen sfeer. Het sanitair was niet verwarmd, wat in begin mei niet zo prettig is; ook de douche mocht van ons wel een graadje warmer. Echter, als we weer in de buurt zijn zullen wij zeker weer een paar dagen van de camping genieten.
