Route:

From the centre of Calais follow the D127 towards Guines. Follow the signs through the centre of Guines. Camp site situated on the D321. From St. Omer take N43 to Ardres. Next, take D321 through the centre of Guines.

Wij vonden het een fijne rustige en mooi parkachtig aangelegde camping met zeer ruime plaatsen.
Het personeel waar wij mee te doen hebben gehad was zeer vriendelijk, ons frans is zeer slecht maar met handen en benen van beide kanten kwamen we er wel uit. Het is ook een aanrader om steden als Calais en Duinkerke te bekijken. Zeer mooi!

Ook zit je er centraal om bunkers en forten langs de kust en in de omgeving van Guines te bezoeken vooral de bunker en lanceer-basis van de V1's en de V2's uit de WO-2 zijn een aanrader. In Guines zijn 4 supermarkten, dus genoeg. Bij het eethuis en cafetaria zijn de prijzen te hoog voor de kwaliteit! Al met al een aanrader om er te vertoeven.

Een zeer mooie camping, kort bij een 'drukke' weg. Vriendelijk personeel dat ons altijd verder heeft geholpen in verband met doktersbezoek tot het verstrekken van wandelkaarten van de buurt.

Wij hebben in de meivakantie (2009) een prima tijd gehad op deze camping. Het restaurant op de camping heeft een goede keuken en de kaas als dessert was ouderwets goed.

Heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant! Vriendelijke en nette bediening en geweldig eten. Gebruikt als doorreiscamping, maar wellicht in de toekomst komen we nog eens langer.

Wij verbleven hier buiten de kortingperiode, en kregen, omdat wij niet gereserveerd hadden, (op een halflege camping) een plaats toegewezen, naast het hondentoilet, 15 meter vanaf een drukke autoweg. Vanaf half zes in de ochtend druk verkeer. Op mijn mondelinge klachten werd niet ingegaan. U had moeten reserveren, was de reactie. We zijn daarom na twee nachten vertrokken.
Over de andere8 acsi-campings, die wij tijdens onze zevenweekse rondreis bezochten, niets dan lof!
