What a lovely campsite, have just returned from a 12 night stay and this was our first visit, were very pleased with the site having chosen it by random and researching other people's comments. The toilet block is immaculate with large cubicles and plenty of washing up and laundry sinks, the showers had plenty of free hot water and were very spacious. Considering it was August and high season the site was still peaceful and suitable for families with children of any age, our 17 year old loved having the wifi available, so it was like home from home - she was able to talk with her friends online and only came back when her laptop died! The pool is lovely and was large enough to never be crowded and the bar was nice to have too. We ate a couple of times there and enjoyed some of the evening entertainment but if this is not your thing then it didn't matter as the noise levels are kept low and the bar is not too close to the pitches - all is quiet by 11pm. Can't wait to return!

Camping is een enclave van engelsen. Wij waren de enige Nederlanders. In tegenstelling tot het boekje staat de camping niet aan een rivier en kijk je ook niet uit over de wijngaarden.

This a very friendly site, they make you feel like nothing is a bother. Good spacious pitches all are close to the toilet block. Toilet block was always clean and well maintained, showers are large and lots of hot water. Bar with restaurant that serves good food (however limited menu). They also have goats and chickens for children to pet. Bread delivered daily. Would recommend this site and would return.

We visited this site for 13 nights in June 2010 and were very pleased. The British owners and staff were freindly and helpful. The toilet facilities were excellent, well maintained and clean. The toilet compartments were the largest we've seen, anywhere! The site is very well maintained and well placed for walking into the local village along the river and also for touring the surrounding area. Saumer and Angers are within easy reach and there are pleasant drives along the Loire and lots of smaller towns and villages to explore. Highly recommended.

Well-run site with British owners who give the impression that they really care about their customers. They might have had cause to be miserable, since the site was far from full when I was there, a week before the end of August, but they didn't strike me that way. An excellent base for exploring the Anjou region.
