Pour le prix du camping qu' on a payé je pense qu'on pourrait trouver mieux; surtout pour un 4 étoiles peu d animation, peu d' ambiance et surtout peu de monde pour un mois de juillet et la direction laisse un peu à désirer. Moi j' ai été dans ce camping il y a quelques années. J' ai vraiment trouvé énormement de changements. 1 sanitaire sur 2 et l' état reste à désirer. salutation

Redelijk goede camping aan de voet van het kasteel. Sanitair is redelijk, doch kan beter. Als je gaat eten moet je geluk hebben dat je niet komt na enkele dagen sluiting van het restaurant, want dan trekt het op niets.

As others have found site access can be tricky but we had no trouble getting through the two arches after turning just after the bridge and we have 2.3 m wide, 7 m overall caravan. The site itself is generally very good although to me it seemed that it is an ex municipal site that is in need of a little tlc. For the chemical toilet disposal to have been blocked for reportedly four or five days is ridiculous. However the location and Montreuil-Bellay make it a site worth visiting, even if for only two nights as we did. We enjoyed a reasonable pizza and salad in the restaurant.

IMPORTANT ACCESS INFORMATION
This is an excellent site in a very pretty location and I will add no more, however there are access issues which caravans and motor vans need to be aware of.
Those travelling from Angers, Cholet or Samure will be directed by their sat navs to the entrance road imediatly right at the end of the bridge, this road is narrow and takes you through two narrower arches the second of which could cause problems for larger outfits or newer drivers.
If you miss this turning at the end of the bridge and find yourself heading up into the town pay no attention to your sat nav there are no right turns that will not lead you into deep trouble you are advised to ignore any left turn instructions also, stay on the main road (also a narrow road with another arch) until you come out the other end of town, drive down to the roundabout and turn round Les Nobis is well signposted off this roundabout. (as below)
For preference access to the site should be by the roundabout south of the town for you info I give the latitude and longitude of this roundabout,
The Les Nobis access road is well signposted off this roundabout which is 150M on the left.
