Nice well kept campsite in a nice location, easy walk into the town with its few bars, restaurants and supermarkets, good value for money campsite would recommend.

This is no longer a municipal campsite and was poorly kept. The hedges desperately needed cutting for example. One toilet block was totally out of order another was in poor condition with toilets actually coming off the wall. The staff were very pleasant but seemingly overworked. The swimming pool is no longer owned by the camping and is overcrowded. The town which is nearby has a shortage of restaurants.

Wij kwamen aan op 22 mei 2011 met het voornemen de volgende ochtend door te gaan naar de Vendée. Bij aankomst werd de overnachting meteen afgerekend. Een paar uur later wisten we al dat we de volgende morgen niet zouden opstappen. Het zijn uiteindelijk 21 overnachtingen geworden. Een prachtige parkachtige camping; we hebben op een drietal plaatsen gestaan. Vooral de plaats tegen de heg vlak langs de Loir (niet Loire !!!!) was fantastisch met een geweldig uitzicht. De meeste plaatsen zijn behoorlijk ruim. We hadden 10 Amp die we ook wel nodig hadden om 's morgens de temperatuur op het gewenste niveau te krijgen. In Durtal zijn diverse goede restaurants met nette prijzen. Op circa 900 meter afstand van de camping is een crêperie waar voor € 9,00 een tweeegangenmenu inclusief wijn en koffie werd geserveerd.
We waren dit jaar voor het eerst op deze camping.

Verblijf eerste 10 dagen augustus 2010.
In tegenstelling tot vorige jaren is de camping onredelijk duurder geworden. Ik moest voor alleengaand het forfait voor twee personen betalen, vermeerderd met de elektrische aansluiting, € 3,40/dag.
Voor de plaatsen 1 t/m 60 zijn slechts 4 toiletten, douches en wastafels beschikbaar. Evenals in 2009 waren de plaatsen 5,6 en 7 overwoekerd door distels en brandnetels. Een driesterrencamping onwaardig.
De elektrische infrastructuur dateert van voor 1986 (ons eerste jaar). Door te lange en te dunne aanvoerleidingen, 2½ mm², zakt de door mij gemeten netspanning ontoelaatbaar, zelfs tot 195 volt, waardoor de absorbtiekoelkast te weinig vermogen opneemt en dus verre van behoorlijk werkt.
Logisch dat deze camping, in tegenstelling tot vroeger, zelfs in het hoogseizoen, zeer matig bezet
Vroeger was dit onze favoriete camping, nu niet meer.
