We enjoyed it here. Staff friendly and helpful and pitches a good size (not marked). Sanitary facilities could do with updating but were kept very clean. The only criticism I would make is that the pool was closed and really needed draining and cleaning - it was very scummy and looked like mosquito heaven.
Nice little town, some etangs, supermarkets, good bars, war museum.
We enjoyed out stay here and would return.

The guy on reception was superb, sorting us out with all the info we needed to visit the surrounding area. Very helpful & friendly. Well placed for paying one's respects at the many WW1 sites which were moving & incredibly humbling. What those guys went through is beyond belief. The museum at Thiepval is a must, as is the memorial there. However the smaller, almost hidden cemeteries & memorials/tributes I found as affecting.

Overall the site good but security needs to be upgraded as the week we stayed there were at least 5 tents, cars and motorhomes broken into on one night and items stolen and vehiles damaged.

We stayed here for 2 nights, they get a lot of passing through trade, but it is nice for a few nights. The pool is small, but pleasant, with a nice seating area. The canal runs right by the site, so its interesting to watch the barges passing by. The toilets need an upgrade, they seemed quite shabby and grubby. The playground is adequate, with a table tennis table and vollyball net beside it. We got drinks/icecreams in the bar one evening, but there wasn't much of an atmosphere there - just a few men watching the TV, so we didnt stay too long. There's a pool table, table football and some arcade games in the bar. The area has a fascinating, but horrifically sad history. We visited the excellent museum in Peronne, housed in an old castle and suitable for all the family.
