A friend and I stayed at this camp site in August 2011, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff spoke English and were extremely friendly, helpful. The plots were a good size and the washing facilities were superb, with individual wet rooms complete with wash basin and electric point. Toilets were cleaned frequently throughout the day and there was always paper provided. There is a fantastic sandy beach about 300 m from the site which is easily walkable. My only negative was that the site closes its gate from 11pm until 6am which can be a problem, depending on the sailing time of the return ferry (It's a 6 hour drive to Le Havre). That aside we can really recommend this site. We will certainly use it again but in future will be more careful with the ferry departure time.

Wij zijn in juni 2011 op deze camping geweest en het was er heerlijk. Mooi terrein, bijna "parkachtig" met veel (bijzondere) vogels. Vanaf de camping was de zeed te zien, dus dat was fantastisch. Personeel was ook erg aardig. Bij zwembad heb ik goed gezet, maar er was geen zwembad. Voor ons is een zwembad ook niet nodig als wij een strandvakantie houden, dus dat is voor ons dus goed. In juni was er geen entertainment, dus "matig' en er waren naar ons idee ook geen sportfaciliteiten, dus "matig".

Visited in June 2011, the reception staff were very helpful, spoke good english, toilet blocks were excellent and being upgraded further, no swimming pool at the moment, but beach across at the road at low tide and 300 metres to the grand beach which is vast, nice area to visit and local restaraunts
within walking distance, would visit again. does not participate in the acsi card discount scheme, yet when we settled our account and produced our discount card, he reduced the tariff to 17 euros a night with no hesitation, would return again if we are in that area.
