Deze camping ligt in een erg mooi gebied tussen de bergen. Het riviertje de Verdon stoomt langs de camping. Twee keer per week staat het water hoog en stroomt sneller dus volop gelegenheid om te kanoën, raften of gewoon in een zwemband lekker afdrijven met de stroom mee. Iedere avond is er voor op het podium bij de camping vermaak voor jong en oud.Voor de oudere jeugd is er iedere avond een kampvuur. Er is een gewone speeltuin en ook een fitnespeeltuin waar jong en oud zich vermaken.
Het sanitair is oud maar word wel goed schoongehouden. Het zwembad is aan de kleine kant.
Wij vonden dit een mooie camping. Zeker een aanrader, vooral met oudere kinderen.

Prima camping. Sanitair wat verouderd, maar wel schoon. Prachtige omgeving, veel te zien maar ook om wat te doen. Zwembad valt tegen, al met al hebben wij [ 5 personen waaronder 3 kinderen van 10 13 en 14 jaar] prima vermaakt.

Wij hebben ruim twee weken op deze camping gestaan. Positief zijn wij over de omgeving, de ruime staanplaatsen, de faciliteiten op de camping en de rivier Verdon (hier speelden onze kinderen het liefst). Minder positief zijn wij over het sanitair (dit is verouderd, maar werd wel regelmatig schoon gemaakt), de verre afstanden door de bergen, het onvriendelijke personeel op de camping en de relatief dure prijzen.
Wij hebben een leuke vakantie gehad, maar wij vinden dit geen vier-sterren camping waard. De camping is meer geschikt voor gezinnen met oudere kinderen van 12-18 jaar. We zijn naar Monaco (130 km en 2 uur rijden), naar Saint Tropez (100 km en 1,5 uur rijden) en naar het meer van St. Croix (60 km en 1 uur rijden) geweest.

Wij hebben van eind juli tot begin augustus 2008 ruim twee weken op deze camoing gestaan. De omgeving is erg mooi, vooral aan de rivier hebben onze kinderen van 11, 9 en 6 jaar zich goed vermaakt. De campeerplekken zijn ruim en de camping is netjes. Het sanitair is verouderd, maar werd wel regelmatig schoongemaakt. Vanaf de camping zijn we o.a. naar het meer van St. Croix, naar Monaco (2 uur rijden, 130 km) en naar Saint Tropez (1,5 uur, 100 km) geweest. De camping is eigenlijk beter geschikt voor kinderen van 10-18 jaar. We gaan er later misschien nog eens terug. Wij vonden het er relatief duur.

Mooie camping met mooie plaatsen op loopafstand van het leuke dorp Castellane.
Zwembad is wat te klein voor zoveel mensen, maar de rivier kun je vanaf de camping ook zo in. Dus afkoeling genoeg in de zomerhitte. We gaan er zeker nog eens terug.
