Fraai gelegen camping op loopafstand van een klein klimmersdorpje in de Haute Alpes.
Pluspunten:
- Ligging
- Prijs/kwaliteit
- Mooie wielren- en mountainbikeroutes
- Gratis wifi op de camping, echter alleen goed bij de receptie te ontvangen
Minpunten:
Twee keer in de week wordt er een disco en en karaokeavond gehouden. Wanneer je dicht bij de bar staat kan dit vrij lawaaiig zijn, verder is het vrij rustig.
Het zwembad kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken (loszittende tegels) maar voldoet verder prima. Ook zou het wenselijk zijn het zwembad op drukke dagen wat vaker schoon te maken.
Het centrale sanitairblok is verouderd en aan vervanging toe, maar elders op de camping zijn daarentegen al wel moderne sanitairgebouwen aangelegd.

Dit is een prachtige camping waar men gemakkelijk een paar dagen kan uitrusten. Als je echter met een tent bent dien je stevige haringen en een goede hamer mee te brengen daar de grond steenhard is.

Wat een uitzicht! Mooie terrassencamping met uitzicht over het dorpje en de berg waar klimmers dagelijks hun kunsten vertonen. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het dorp is op loopafstand en daar is alles aanwezig van slager tot bakker maar ook een aantal restaurants. Ook het dorpsmidden is zoals het in echte franse dorpjes hoort. Platanen en jeux-de-boules. Eet zeker eens bij het restaurantje op de hoek tegenover de fontein, neem het dagmenu en je komt steeds weer terug. Super! Voor de kids is er op de camping van alles te doen en ook voor de wat oudere kinderen wordt veel gedaan. Je moet dan denken aan oa.klimmen en een kampvuur. Sommige plaatsen op het terrassengedeelte van de camping hebben zijn afdakjes gemaakt van dikke takken, die schaduw bieden en van waar u op uw gemak kunt kijken naar de klimmers aan de overkant. Een echte aanrader!

Sehr gut geführter Familiencamping. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsebereit. Selbst Boule-Kugeln standen zur freien Verfügung. Inzwischen WIFI gratis!
Wir brauchten bereits Ende der Hauptsaison nur die ermäßigten Preise bezahlen (5 Tage).
Kleines Einkaufszentrum in circa 300 Meter im Bau!
Orpierre hat tolle Sportmöglichkeiten (Klettern).
Platz und Umgebung sehr zu empfehlen.

We stayed for 4 days June and July. We were very pleased with the area and the camp site. There's one shop in easy walking distance. We did not try the local bar as we drank on the camp site. We had excellent weather, but were disappointed that the Lavender was not yet in bloom due to a late season. Swiming pool cleaned every morning by a team of staff. We were lucky that an excellent English speaking temporary worker was there during our stay Seagreen. Although Camp lady had some English and was very helpful and friendly.
