Route:

Leave the A7 at Loriol. D104 direction Crest. Left at 2nd traffic lights toards centre. Over the railway line. Turn right at the large roundabout with monument. Continue for another 600m beside the river to the camp site.

Mooi aangelegde camping in de prachtige Drôme, waar we in juni 18 nachten hebben gestaan. Naar volle tevredenheid. Op loopafstand van Crest,om een terrasje te pakken, of naar de markt te gaan.

Vanaf deze camping kan men een goede fietstocht maken, zelfs een heel stuk langs de rivier. De camping ligt op wandel en fietsafstand van het plaatsje Crest. Dit plaatsje viel wel een beetje tegen. Het was er erg stil. Voor tochten met de auto zit je erg centraal. Wel veel nederlanders op de camping. Verder was de eigenaar erg hulpvaardig met het verstrekken van fietsroutes voor in de omgeving. Plaatsen zijn erg groot, dus wel fijn voor diegene die campers en grote caravans bezitten.

Een mooie camping. Aan de wegkant is er nog wel eens verkeerslawaai. Toegang tot de rivier valt tegen. Een steile kant om naar beneden te gaan. Wij konder er niet zwemmen, omdat er in juni te weinig water is. Wel een prachtige omgeving om te fietsen en te wandelen. Crest is een leuk en gezellig plaatsje als er markt is, anders is het er erg stil.

Vanaf de camping zijn leuke plaatsjes te bezoeken. Het was niet erg druk op de camping, maar we konden maar uit twee plekken kiezen. Wij zagen echter veel meer onbesproken plekken. Veel mensen mopperden hierover. We hebben er vier dagen gestaan en ze konden on niet eens uitleggen waarom ze dit zo deden. Wel een gezellige camping.

De toegangsweg naar deze camping is gedeeltelijk erg smal. Maar de ligging is prachtig en vlak bij het mooie stadje Crest. Mooie, ruime, egale, goed onderhouden staanplaatsen. Verzorgde uitstraling, vriendelijk echtpaar dat eigenaar is. Erg schoon sanitair.Goede fiets, wandel, zwemmogelijkheden.

We waren er voor de tweede keer. Rustig en ruime plaats. Kon de fiets lenen van de baas toen mijn band leeg was en kreeg goede verwijzing naar de fietsenmaker. Supermarkt op fietsafstand. Eettentjes op loopafstand. Toen de camper niet wilde starten op een werkdag,had de baas binnen een half uur een depannage geregeld en konden we weg.
