Een zeer mooi gelegen camping aan een helder (privé) meertje waar men kan zwemmen en bootje varen. Afhaal gerechten van wissellende kwaliteit (pizza's heerlijk, kip bijna verkoold). Voor sportfietsers en wandelaars is dit een zeer mooie omgeving. Er zijn colletjes tussen 1.000 en 1.500 meter in de directe omgeving. Bijvoorbeeld Grimonne, Menee en Miscon. Voor wandelaars die iets moeilijker parcours aan durven, de +/- 13 kilometer lange (rond)wandeling Chatillon-Ravel.

Entree een verwaarloosde indruk. De kampeerplaatsen zijn gemiddeld 50 vierkante meter. Op het terrein bevindt zich een meertje waar je kunt zwemmen en vissen.Het nieuwe sanitairgebouw (met zonne-energieinstall.) was niet volledig in gebruik. De laatse weken beperkt gebruik van de douches en toilet in dit gebouw.Op een bepaalt moment was het nieuwe san.gebouw volledig buiten gebruik gesteld. Het oude gebouw is moeilijk bereikbaar. Trappen van bielzen die schots en scheef liggen!Hierdoor was het voor sommige kampeerders niet mogelijk de douche en toilet te gebruiken. Als argument voor de sluiting: het omschakelen van zonne-energie naar de normale energie voorziening is duur in gebruik. De zon heeft al die tijd uitstekend geschenen! Kindertoilet, is na protesteren geopend. Hebben zelf 10 dagen het sanitair moeten schoonmaken. Het afval van de chemisch toilet komt in de pot van de kindertoilet. Zo kan er nog meer zaken genoemd worden.Geen goede indruk van deze camping.

De aanblik van de camping bij aankomst was enigzins verwaarloosd, rommelig. Eind augustus gaan al enkele toiletten en douches op slot. Receptie en winkel niet de hele dag geopend in deze periode.

De plekken zijn heerlijk ruim. Het uitzicht op het meer is heerlijk. Het gratis gebruik van de kano's is heel prettig. De pizza en de frites waren heel smakelijk. De broodjes s'morgens waren een prima start van onze dag. De winkel had een goed assortiment, de ijscobar eveneens. Wij hebben ons ondanks de eerste drie regels hier prima vermaakt.

Jammer dat veel kranen bij de kampeerplek niet werkten en er maar één toiletgebouw open was. De trap naar het oude, wel geopende toiletgebouw is gevaarlijk door de verzakte bielzen en ongelijke treden. Het legen van het chemisch toilet leverde ook problemen.

Vriendelijk ontvangst. Alleen het verouderde sanitairblok geopend en daar is geen punt tot legen en schoonmaken van het chemisch toiliet. Dit is wel aanwezig in het nieuwe (nog gesloten) sanitairblok. De watertappunten bij de caravans zijn nog niet te gebruiken.WiFi niet beschikbaar. Heel mooie omgeving.
