Deze camping is prima geschikt als doortrekcamping of om St. Etienne te bezoeken. De plaats is echter beperkt, doordat op de kampeerplaatsen veel seizoenkampeerders staan. Hierdoor is slechts 25% van de kampeerplaatsen beschikbaar, zo’n 10 tot 15 plaatsen. Het sanitair is een beetje gedateerd, maar wordt goed schoongehouden. Wifi is aanwezig en één uur per dag gratis. De omgeving is erg mooi qua natuur en dorpjes.

Bewegwijzeringsborden leiden goed naar de camping. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Geasfalteerd pad voert langs de staanplaatsen op terrassen, die vlak zijn en een goede grasmat hebben. Bomen geven transparante schaduw. De camping heeft overwegend vaste staanplaatsen en mobilehomes, en heeft een gering aantal vrije plaatsen die veelal door passanten worden ingenomen. Het sanitair is in goede conditie. Van de 5 verschillende campings waar wij in juni 2010 op Campingcard ACSI verbleven was dit (ook na bijtelling van een gering bedrag aan bijkomende kosten !!!) de goedkoopste en zeker niet de slechtste.

Visited at start of October, 2009 - our GPS navigator got us rather lost. There is an error in the ACSI book, reception does require a passport at check-in. Nice terraced site, not too busy, with power points two pitches apart or more. There is a nice sanitary block which is too small for the site when fully occupied (e.g. only two male toilets). There is no toilet paper, soap or paper towels but each of the showers ensures the luxury of keeping some floor space dry so trouser bottoms and socks also remain dry. The site provides a free two hour WiFi connection (not in ACSI book) - what a great idea this is, one for other sites to emulate: Give people a short time for free in order to meet the most urgent communications, then charge if people need lots of time. The connection here is glacially slow but it is just about adequate for the most basic sort of operation (an e-mail or two). There are a number of intriguing multilingual notices about the place. Note that tourist tax is added to the book/card tariff.

Wir haben auf diesem Platz nur übernachtet. Die Gegend ist sehr schön zum Spazierengehen. Leider war der Pool noch nicht in Betrieb.

Ein schöner Platz abseits, aber doch in der Nähe zum Zentrum.
Bahnanbindung zur schönen Stadt St-Etienne.
Ein Platz den wir wieder anfahren wenn wir in der Gegend sind.
