Camping ligt erg mooi en heeft een mooi zwembad (onverwarmd, dus kan koud zijn). Wij kwamen met een tent en het is een groot probleem dat tenten alleen op de tentweide mogen staan, waar het echt waardeloos is. Na aandringen kregen wij alsnog een caravanplek en hebben een leuke week hier gehad. Animatie is helaas niet elke avond, maar in de weekeinden is deze erg goed.

we hebben nog nooit meegemaakt dat de campingeigenaar zelf veel te hard over de camping heen en weer racet. Wij zaten in een bocht met begroeing. Onze zoon van 4 kon niet alleen spelen vanwege het harde rijden. Wij hebben diverse keren bij de balie vermeld dat er te hard werd gereden. Denk bijvoorbeeld jonge lui die de hele dag liggen te feesten en dan naar de wc rijden met de auto of naar de winkel. Dat vinden wij niet kunnen.

De hele dag werden overal maar tenten weggehaalt en tussen gepropt. Er was hierdoor geen overzicht; ik moest mijn fiets over de scheerlijnen van de buren tillen. Heel jammer, want voor de rest is het een echte leuke camping met leuk animatieteam. Ook is de omgeving erg mooi. Wij zijn een week eerder vertrokken vanwege deze niet leuke gebeurtenissen.

Juli/Augustus 2008: qua ligging een mooie camping. Er stonden enkele jongeren waardoor overdag het gedreun van muziek normaal was en 's nacht tot in de late uurtjes het zeer luidruchtig was. Zeer kleine plaats. Zeker tijdens het hoog seizoen probeert men zoveel mogelijk mensen op een plaats te krijgen. Op het moment dat je aangeeft dat het nu wel heel krap wordt geven ze de suggestie om maar een camping in Zwitserland oid te zoeken. Personeel en plaats (waardoor prijs en kwaliteit) scoren ze echt een onvoldoende. Het vele autoverkeer/rondcrossende kinderen op de fiets en het ontbreken van voetpaden maakt het voor kinderen niet echt een veilige camping. Voor de omgeving zeker de moeite waard. Veel gezien, veel gedaan. Ga graag verder de omgeving verkennen, maar niet op deze camping!

Wij zijn augustus 2007 op deze camping geweest alles was goed geregeld en ondanks veel geklaag (slecht weer) bleven de medewerkers vriendelijk en vooral rustig. Sanitair super schoon alleen de douches hebben een hele rechte waterstraal dus je hebt het idee dat je onder een hogedruk reiniger staat :-). Het kindersanitair is erg handig en ook lekker schoon.

Wir waren im August 2009 zwei Wochen auf dem Gitzenweiler Hof und waren wie jedes Jahr hellauf begeistert. Der Empfang war von der Reception und auch vom Platzwart sehr freundlich. Unser Stellplatz war wieder toll und die Kinder haben wir aus dem Kinderwaschland gar nicht mehr rausgebracht. Die Putzkräfte waren den ganzen Tag am wischen und aufräumen. Besonderst hat uns bzw. den Kindern die Animation und die Abendshows gefallen. Es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Auch gibt es in den Sommermonaten einen Shuttel-Bus der mehrmals täglich direkt vom Gitzenweiler Hof nach Lindau fährt.
Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub am Gitzenweiler Hof!
