A3 Würzburg-Nürnberg exit 74 Kitzingen/Schwarzach. Then drive towards Volkach. After 4 km drive towards Sommerach and then follow the signs to the camp site.

Schon einige Jahre kommen wir sehr gerne zum Campingplatz Katzenkopf, sei es zu einem Zwischenstopp auf der Durchreise oder zu einem längeren Urlaub. Wir fühlen uns dort sehr wohl. Die Umgebung ist malerisch, lädt zum Wandern und Radfahren ein. Auch ein Besuch der nahegelegenen Klosterabtei Münsterschwarzach gehört regelmäßig zu unseren Urlaubsprogramm. Besonders zu erwähnen ist auch das Restaurant des Campingplatzes unter neuer Leitung. Alle Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und sind sehr schmackhaft.
Der Ort Sommerach faszieniert uns immer wieder.

Ga hier elk jaar overnachten. Blijf ook wel eens een paar dagen, lekker eten in restaurant, vriendelijk personeel, in een woord geweldig. Kom dit jaar weer.

voor de 3e keer in de laatste 4 jaar een paar dagen op de Katzenkopf. Blijft een prima camping met vriendelijk personeel.Het is alleen jammer dat in vergelijk tot 2009 het restaurant gedegradeerd is tot een veredelde Imbiss Stube

Hebben hier in juni 2010 1 nacht overnacht. Prima camping met veel en keurig sanitair. Vriendelijk personeel. Tourplekken bleken vol dus we kwamen tussen de vaste kampeerders terecht. Waren erg behulpzaam.

Hebben hier één nacht, aangekoppeld, gestaan en dat was allemaal prima geregeld. In het restaurant kon je heel goed eten. De bediening was prima maar misschien een optie om meer personeel in te zetten in piektijden! Zijn even over de camping gelopen en het zag er allemaal keurig uit. Het sanitair was schoon.
