Leider wurde bei der Buchungsanfrage nicht auf den derzeit komplett geschlossenen Saunabereich hingewiesen (Renovierung bis Ostern 2012). Das Personal machte einen unmotivierten, lustlosen Eindruck. 2 Duschkarten für 3 Personen waren unpraktisch. Der Toilettenbereich sowie Duschbereich sind grundsätzlich i.O. aber bei unserem Besuch eher mäßig sauber; teilweise muffelig. Die Duschkabinen sind sehr klein; keine Ablage, nur 2 kleine Haken. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht. Die Lage des Platzes ist traumhaft; die vielen Wanderwege aber leider schlecht bis gar nicht ausgeschildert. Kartenmaterial (Wandern, Moutnebiking) gibt es leider nur an der nächsten Tankstelle zu kaufen.

Wij zijn daar in de herfst geweest, prachtige herfsttinten en goed weer, leuke en een mooie omgeving om te wandelen door de wijngaarden, om te fietsen viel het wat tegen. Mooie kleine plaatsen: Altenahr, Rech, Mayschossen en Dernau om wijn te kopen en te proeven.
Ook met de auto kun je prachtige routes rijden. Al met al zeker de moeite waard om in de herfst daar te kijken.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Mooie omgeving om te wandelen en te fietsen. Sanitair moet je wel aan wennen. Restaurant op de camping is goed. Er is sinds kort een Penny-Markt tussen Altenahr en de camping, kun je fietsend en/of lopend heen. Zeker een camping om nog eens terug te komen.

etwas abgelegen, aber schöne Wanderwege. Manko: Keine Tageszeitung, keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, nach Angaben anderer Camper, werden Lebensmittelautos weggejagt, nicht so schön, da keinerlei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort

Wij zijn hier gebleven van 6 t/m 9 augustus. De camping ligt in een prachtige, zeer rustige omgeving. Wij hebben met volle teugen genoten. Men kan hier uitstekend wandelen en fietsen. Het sanitair is uitstekend; de chipcard nodigt niet uit tot ellenlange douchebeurten, maar voor ons was dit überhaupt geen probleem. We komen hier zeer zeker nog een keer terug.
