Helaas toen wij er waren was het erg lawaaiig, groepen kinderen die tot zeker 12 uur 's nachts aan het schreeuwen waren, het zou om 10 uur stil moeten zijn, niets van gemerkt. Het sanitair was schoon, maar voor respectievelijk dames en heren, 1 douche, 3 wastafels en 3 toiletten is wel heel weinig.
Omgeving is prachtig en zeker de moeite waard om nogmaals terug te komen, alleen dan andere camping.

Die Sanitäranlagen waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Positiv, dass es extra Waschräume für Erwachsene gab und die vom Jugenddorf getrennt wurden. Allerdings ist eine Dusche zu wenig.

Zwar liegt der camping am Dorfrand, aber bis zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten sind es bestimmt vier Kilometer und zu den Restaurants zwei Kilometer zu laufen. Richtige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind noch weiter weg. (Man braucht einen Personenkraftwagen). Allerdings kann man Brötchen am Platz kaufen.

Probleme gab es bei der Nachtruhe. Im Jugenddorf saßen Erwachsene noch sehr lange am Lagerfeuer und waren entsprechend laut.

Wenn man keine Ermäßigungskarte wie ACSI, ADAC etc. hat, ist der Platz auch sehr teuer. Und dieser Preis ist meiner Meinung nach nicht gerechtfertigt. Dafür bietet der Platz zu wenig. Ich habe ähnlich "grüne" und naturnahe CP´s besucht, die alle viel günstiger waren.

Sehr gut auch die Trennung zwischen Hunde- und Nichthundebesitzer. Das beugt Streitigkeiten vor.

Wij zijn begin augustus hier een paar dagen geweest viel eigenlijk best mee het enigste waar we aan moesten wennen was dat in het kinderkamp om 07.30 een soort van reveille werd gehouden ,de ene dag op blokfluit de andere dag trompet/trombone en ook een keer op een piano maar dit alles duurde maar een paar minuten , vriendelijk personeel en een zeer mooie omgeving de gehuurde plaats mochten we zelf uitzoeken in het (omdat we er zelf ook een hebben) gedeelte voor honden bezitters.
al met al, na meer als 10 jaar anders vacantie te hebben gehouden vonden we deze camping niet tegen vallen

Wer Kinder mag und die Natur liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Im benachbarten Jugend-Hüttendorf ist immer was los und auf dem Spielplatz und im Wald gibt es allerhand zu entdecken! Manderscheid bietet einen hohen Erholungswert: die Burgen und die herrliche Natur, welche zu jeder Jahreszeit sehens- und erlebenswert ist. Der Lieserpfad, einer der schönsten Wanderwege Deutschlands und auch der neue Eifelsteig liegen nicht weit vom Campingplatz weg und sind für jeden Wanderfreund ein Muss. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Camping in een prachtig gebied met veel wandelmogelijkheden.
Centraal op de camping ligt een jeugdkamp. Daar vieren er 60 11-jarigen vakantie tussen de campinggasten, wat veel overlast veroorzaakt.
De speeltuin stelde niets voor en is ongeschikt voor jonge kinderen. Wij zijn na korte tijd vertrokken, ipv een verblijf van de gereserveerde twee weken. Eigenaar was niet geinteresseerd in de reden.
De camping zelf is mooi en goed onderhouden. Voor wie van (veel) kinderen houdt zonder ouders, is het een prima plek. Er is overigens geen zwembad.
